Wonder if allowed by rules? Probably have to make it either rubber mounted or some sort of semi-flexible clamp on deal so doesn't affect chassis flex. But safety should be priority #1. Edit: maybe just make some carbon fiber "tubes" for feet to go in? Keep feet from flopping around hitting stuff when flipping too.

I think it’s safe for me to say everyone is wishing you the best of luck and hoping for the fastest return possible. Maybe while you are recovering you can dream up a cage or something around the foot area to help others not have that freaky thing happen again.

Man talk about a freak thing to have happen. I'm glad that you are going to be ok. I wonder if there is some way that a cage or something can be built on the chassis that would protect a drivers feet 🤔 from watching Tanners videos of that place when I saw those bales I first thought was I wonder what kind of trouble will they cause. I bet the people that put that event on learned a lot from those races and I hope that they go visit other tracks to see how they are set up and maybe they can do the same there. Anyways you looked like you were doing ok with making it through the races and getting to where you needed to be to move on which is a good thing. Thank you Carly for this little video.
