Don't mind me, just a part of making siren enthusiast history! I'm very glad I got a shot of the lower damper flapping around, the 12-port side sure did pack a punch! After this, we got canceled and failed on, but the camaraderie and time together made it all worth while. Not much else to say that can't be found elsewhere, other than this was totally worth the 3-hour drive out here! Enjoy yall!

Well if it's a single-rotor Banshee then it can't do a hi-lo, but some with wider intakes to accommodate coding gear could pulse, though none (as far as we know) still use the signal...
REAL GOOD VIDEO!! This is literal history. The Hi-Lo sounds a lot better than I thought it would besides the lower damper struggling.

Incredible!! I could barely belive it! I had heard the beat up tape of the Superbanshee Pulse, and I was starting to wonder if the Superbanshee could even do hilo or if pulse was all it was capable of. Now lets find the rumored coded ACA Hurricane!

It's on the evaton fire station 1394 easton rd in evaton south africa and it was the 1968 square horn version

@@someengineermain6803 No, it's not. There WAS a hurricane on the fire station but it was removed. The only existing picture of it is on an old newspaper which was found recently. The newspaper in question was title "ACA Hurricane makes a big noise in S. Africa".

I still cannot believe this is 10 months ago, here are some moments 00:00 activation of Hilo 1:11 8 port having a crisis 1:30 wind down 1:38 dampers stop 2:06 dampers activate, we now discover that the dampers could go faster.
I thought this was april fools joke

WHAT?! AMAZING! also the damper kinda glitches at times but i guess thats what happens when its unused for some time.

The “glitches” were caused by the shear vibrations the siren made. The flashers were not functioning at this time so the contacts were being manually triggered, but the vibrations caused them to occasionally unseat mid-cycle.

Next on siren community milestones: a Klaxon CS-8 or similar siren sounding in pulse as that signal was originally intended for a GRAY fallout warning in the U.K.

Around 1:16 It has a little glitch
1:16 the stroke starts
That damper was struggling to move a few times.

The solenoids are just fine, the problem lies in the relays in the control box. Drew had to trigger them manually, and the contacts were literally bouncing on and off due to the vibrations on the pole. If the controller were to be relocated to a separate pole or stronger relays used, that would likely fix the problem.

No, this does not share any parts with the P-50. The rotors (or at least the 8-port side) was shared with the Banshee-110 (later 115). The P-50 uses the same rotor as the Cyclone-120/125.

It could be the springs pulling it back are weak and may need replacing if the Hi-Lo function is used.
