So happy that you're happy. Honestly, that's the biggest goal for everyone. Everyone deserves happiness and if you're not happy where you're at, it's important to take a step back and rethink, plan, and do whatever you got to do to take a step to be happy again.

Ahhhh been there 2008. It’s pretty crushing but you are embracing it the right way -- an open door and a new adventure. You have great life skills. One reason you may be extra tired is the silent stress on the lay-off. It takes a toll so get extra rest !

So get this - I also lost my job at the end of 2022 AND have a similar attitude (and privilege) to use it as an opportunity to pursue other creative endeavors and try new things and so I love this for you and for me!!!

I love watching your vlogs! I struggle with my mental health because I don't have a daily routine so that helps to have an idea of what I could be doing somehow. Also, love seeing your videos of classes and auditions, it inspires me as I would like to do musicals one day as well !

so excited for you to focus on your creativity these next few months!! would you ever possibly do a video on what auditioning looks like for you? what kind of shows do you audition for - is it dancing or acting or both? I'd love to know more if you'd share with us :)

I was laid off 2 weeks ago (Mortgage industry) but I look at it as a blessing in disguises since I was so unhappy in that job and like you was debating quitting. I am happy for both of us to pursue our passions in this newfound freedom.

Job loss is tough. Hoping good things come your way 💖

You are so busy I don't even know how you did a 9-5 job! Thank goodness you have friends and other interests and career aspirations. I was laid off once. It was weird for a couple of months but it turned out to be for the best in the end. Love your videos!

I think this job loss might be a big blessing in disguise ❤ so excited for this new adventure for you.

Been laid off twice. Once in the run up to 2008 crash, and in 2015 when the startup I was working for lost its main investor. Every time it took me out my comfort zone and pushed me and proved both times to lead to great things. It can be scary, glad your relaxed, the KZreads can support... never watched a blog video like this before... it was chill and nice (and NYC, yey) Keep at it :)

My wife lost her job in 2018 and we moved to Mexico from nyc and life has never been better. Also, when you’re at dance I can see my old therapist offices from the window lol😂
