“Burn it to the ground” 😂😂 theres definitely some painful days man. Feel for ya. Gotta say bro vlogging takes some courage so hats off to you. Thinking of getting into it as i mentioned and all of a sudden i realized its a lot more then people think. I grew up fd up with a crazy crew and last night was cashing out and had a few k in my racks and ran into some old friends and they were all just looking at the money. Weird situation and made me think twice about putting my business out there. Encore needs to do something for security and regular players. They have no box options there no way to just keep chips there.

You can do that to get top of lists, but I don't think you can tip your way into these pre-set games. It is what it is unfortunately.

Lots of things! Worked in sports retail, technology retail, barman, worked in hotels, all sorts of weird and wonderful things!

And I just learned a new Scottish word: "Scuttered!" Not to put a bigger damper on your day, but I think you probably realize that mid-high stakes live game politics is only going to get worse. I don't know what the solution is - if there is one - but in the meantime you'll probably need to figure out how to keep your cool in the midst of it all. Happy holidays.

Yes you are absolutely right, this be the norm, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying to support the bread and butter game every day then have this bigger/better game dangled cruelly in front of you. I lived on Isle of Man for four years, with many Scottish colleagues at PokerStars. Never heard them say "scunnered" unless it was one of the Glaswegians, in which case I didn't understand a word they said, so maybe they said it. The "private public" game thing makes me very sad, and I wish the casinos and card clubs would do their damn jobs and stop it, but obviously a wee fix is in.

Our bodies are programmed to respond in certain ways. Like when unfair/annoying things happen to us we respond with anger. But you can control your bodies biological programming because you are consciousness. Consciousness can override the bodies biological programming.

Yes you give action by straddling, playing loose etc , but they still know it’s just for show and you will still exploit the whales. You need to purposely give up a lot of EV in exchange for long term returns like Keating, but that’s hard to pull off without a huge bankroll

I was a little shocked to see it, ownage!

You give out a small live-tell bc you are looking at AA, KK, QQ multiple times and also lingering when looking at them while not doing any of that with marginal hands.

The politics really are so tilting these days. High stakes "private" live games in casinos are just filled with shit regs who couldn't beat 50nl online. It's super frustrating that poker rooms don't handle this shit fairly. Sort of takes this idea of laddering up the stakes and taking shots not even possible anymore above say 5/10 or 10/20 most places. The dream feels different now. No seat unless you're sucking someone off for an invite, giving up a piece of your action, or you're a whale.
