Learned today that Kenneth Anger has passed away, a fascinating figure and a fighter for the first amendment rights we are all guaranteed by the US Constitution
I just discovered this channel and I love it! I wanted to know, are they some great/important art house russian filmaker ? I think a vid on this could be nice

Yup! Main ones are Eisenstein and Tarkovsky, but I am definitely planning on doing a Russian video at some point.

I remember seeing these films in the 80s at gay film festivals. To be honest I didn't get it. I thought it was crap. However I have noticed his influence on other better filmmakers.
