I agree with you there also as a Hunter! Some people give Hunters a bad name with episodes like flushing out a Bear during hibernation and shooting them .

@@gilperes6451 that’s one thing that I really don’t like. I’ve been hunting since 1970 bow and gun. And I’ve never let the animals suffer,one shot one kill. Tell my father and grand father other and you wouldn’t be hunting with them. We never hunted any animal like that,always fair chase and never when a bear was hibernating. Hunt a grizzly one on one with no guide or tree stand. On his own turf with a bow,then see what kind of hunter they are. Do they stand or sit when they Urinate?

Those are Eurasian Brown Bear cubs and I don't think they share the same beliefs of sportsmanship as we do. Of course that may be all the meat he gets for the year.

As a hunter i will say that this is disgusting. Hunting bear while they hibernate? Having a pack of dogs chase a bear straight into a gun barrel? "Hunting" generally takes some skill but these clips were reminiscent of canned hunting on enclosed property where the animals can't escape. It's like fishing with dynamite. Horrible!!

@@notsosilentmajority1 I enjoy the pucker factor when I see a mountion lion , or wolves and hear them howl. Black bears don't really scare me, grizz do.

That first scene that's why I'm not into bow hunting. A bow and arrow is not going to doing anything with a charging bear, at least have a back up large caliber pistol!

I heard a great real story the other day, a poacher in Africa was poaching lions well the only thing they found of that poacher was his head everything else was gone. My dad still tells me to this day " you mess with the bull you get the horns ". That person with the bow and arrow might as well have had a stick

In my home state it is illegal to Hunt Bears when they are hibernating. That is not Hunting, that's murder.

This isn’t hunting. It reminds me of the old saying like shooting fish in a barrel. Poking sleeping young bears and shooting them while they wake up and flee the only direction possible is bulls#@t as far as I’m concerned.

Only seen one guy doing what i call hunting and that was the guy with the traditional bow on the ground ( black bear 1 and hunter zero) i would’ve needed to change underwear for sure. Anyone killing bears while in their den are with dogs im against for sure. The guy protecting his dog was outside of all his common since. Love your dog sure, but never confront a grizz, especially with cubs. He should’ve stayed in the house and called the game and fish. The rest of the video was terrible wish i hadn’t even seen it. Im a bow hunter and will always be until i die. Hunters love and respect the animals we chase, and are the very existence and reason of all regulations and conservation of wildlife. For instance, spring black bear season was established to cut down on calf elk and fawn deer deaths due to bear predation and the abundance of black bear, however there is no season for grizzly due to the low numbers. Some states such as Montana occasionally will have a draw to harvest a few grizzly’s but its left up to the state to decide if they choose to or not (so far its always a no) however grizz attacks are growing fast, however i believe if you go to their house, that’s on you, if they come to your house you have the right to protect your family. One last thing. If you shoot a grizzly in Montana, its treated like a murder investigation from ballistics to shot angles and distance of shot did you try bear spray first and on and on. Anyway video was disturbing, liked the comments.

Lol. Well i got a whole wall full of heads that say different. Everyone bow kills. Just to be clear… my whole life revolves around bow hunting. From spring bear in April all the way to the last day of feb hunting deer. Im a bow hunter only so what i think is fair chase hunting for me may not be what other people think id fair chase. Great yo be an American where we can all have our own opinion and dont have to agree to both be right.

A lot of people here are talking about shooting the hibernating bears. I'm no expert, but it might be that was some kind of culling more than hunting. Shooting maybe because they were some kind of problem bears. An area where the bears were overpopulating. Tracking down bears that attacked campers, something like that. Mostly I'm saying this because I've never seen hunters do something like that. Not saying it's impossible of course.

I respect Hunter s and hunting ! But I don't agree with hunting Bears unless you are tracking down a man eater who has attacked a human being for food! But to just go out and kill a Bear for sport especially forcing them out of their dens in hibernation is both Evil and Cruel! I would even consider that act not hunting but cold blooded murder! Bears are a unique special specie's and don't deserve to be considered a trophy animal! And people seem so taken back when folks are attacked by one!! Go figure!!
