I remember this movie. It is based on the cartoon of the same name. It was an okay movie that could of done better to go along with the original story. This movie was made like a prequel for a set of movies that had little to no chance of being made.

Based on an intersting Animated series It was a 100 million dollar movie with a 10 million dollar budget and the film makers tried their best but when you need 10 times the budget to achieve what you want hard work and good will just aren't going to bridge the gap

Max Steel is basically an american adaptation of Ultraman.

Oh the whole "found an alien suit and now I'm a superhero" has been done to death. One of my favorites was Greatest American Hero which took a comedic bent on it. Ralph lost the instruction manual and so he's just constantly failing his way to success, never successfully landing without crashing into stuff, etc. The aliens even came back at one point and gave him another copy of the manual, and he went and lost that one too.

@@timothyprice9064 No, there's two cartoon series, the first one was an earlier 3D animation series with a toyline, then they rebooted it to involve the aliens and other things. The original version was more of teenage superspy stuff, the movie is based on the reboot. I liked the original better

This was the movie I saw it on &flix when I was 12 years old. For years I didn't recognise the movie name. Now I am happy to see this movie again 💞💞

Honestly, the crap budget is the only real problem with this movie. Laserhawk is on my DVD shelf with love.
