Why are unhauls so fun and satisfying to watch?

I think I prefer unhauls in vlog-style, it's really satisfying watching you go through your shelves and find which books to unhaul - always love the chaotic videos 😂

Little free libraries are the best for unhauling (& hauling 🤗) books! Love them!!

My daughter is 13 now but she was with me around 5 years ago and I collapsed (I have so many health issues). That unfortunately traumatised my girl and ever since she has had severe OCD with Anxiety. She isolates herself a lot if it's a bad day as she stays in that loop and asks lots of questions. I totally understand how you feel. I get a lot of people joking that at least my house will be deep cleaned by my girl. In reality, she won't touch doors etc. It's great unhauling books, it clears the mind.

I loved this video. Personally, I much prefer watching people's vlogs rather than the more formal sit-down type videos 🥰🖤

John Green has OCD and has said that turtles all the way down was a really personal story for him to write. However, I think it's important to listen to others with OCD and understand why they may have a different experience with this presentation of that illness. Thank you for being so vocal about your mental health!

I did think he did - I'm always so wary of how I talk about this book, but I think it's important to say for me it didn't work. So good to see different people's experiences out there too though.

Pretty sure John green does have ocd and if I’m remembering correctly he has a huge thing about the living things inside his body like bacteria so that’s what’s shown in Turtles. I think with OCD it’s sooooo varied, my sisters ex has it and his was cleanliness, like would bleach the floors every day, but my neighbour growing up has it and it would be the whole closing the car door 10 times thing, so I totally get why people wouldn’t relate or find the depiction realistic!

Always love a good unhaul. Decluttering always feels so satisfying! 🖤

This is such a chill unhaul 🤩 I’m guilty of keeping all of my book box books whether I’m interested in them or not, but they take up so much space. You’ve inspired me to rethink and only keep the ones I loved/am really excited about getting to!

I love unhaul videos and I really like how you did yours even if you thought it was chaotic!

I love vlog versions of content that's usually in a sit down format so this was 👌 I'm always up for chatty and slightly disjointed/chaotic - it's much more fun 😂

It's basically just a little box/table stand I put up outside of my family home with some books on it for people to be able to take away and enjoy.

Also, I like how you did this video Vlog style! I think I’m going to need to start adapting more of a vlog style approach to wrap ups & unhauls - maybe in the new year, I’m thinking! 😌

The Fairyloot books are rather hit and miss, aren't they? I had those very same books from when I was big into the Fairyloot boxes and I've never felt the desire to read them even if they were interesting to me at the time. I have a couple still on my shelves and I think the next time I do a major unhaul, they'll probably go as they're not really books I'd reach for anymore.

I do really love them and they're so pretty, but I think it comes with the territory of not knowing the book or picking it out. Soooo beaut though, sad to get rid of them for that reason!

I have unhauled lots of books recently. It is hard to get rid of them though. This was a very interesting format of doing it.

John Green does have OCD! I will say I really didn't like Turtles All the Way Down because it triggered my OCD so badly because the rep felt really realistic for me haha (so maybe it's a good thing that it didn't feel like yours!)

I would rrcommend just binning given to the sea i dont feel anyone should be exposed to that book xx
