Yeah he came up like in the movie of the cabin of the woods, the primary Giants who use to rule the world & perhaps the universe and their use their lesser avatars as monsters to cause chaos and fear against the mortals. 🙄😏. Anyway how the next season going to be like!? Or is this it??🤔

This storyline did not need an entire season to tell it. This entire season could've been covered in about 3 episodes leaving room to show the battle between the gods and Typhon.

The witch goddess from the east is Hecate. She was always a Greek-Roman goddess. The Romans called her Trivia, which no one talks about. Her 6 arms, and 3 faces that she's suppose to have in real myths, makes her like a hindu. Guess the show runners wanted her to truly b from there. Could this mean next season will have other pantheons?

At first I didn't get why six month were such a big deal for gods until I realized that's half of eternity spent apart and that *itch of a goddess Demeter doesn't allow them to get conjugal visits when Persephone is up. The real villain was her. If she wasn't so controlling they could have found some balance between their duties and love. It wouldn't be heaven but it could have been slightly better

I can’t even be mad at hades cause he’s basically told he has to go back the hellish realm just to preserve balance. That he and his family have to suffer so the rest can be happy. Gaia tryin to call him out but she blatantly sees the unfairness of it all and said nothing, but now she wanna get pissy cause her “lesson” didn’t work out.

I understand that heron was doing what he thought was right didn’t make what hades did right either though heron will be back the thing is he learns from his mistakes like with his brother he understood what seraphim was saying with the gods being so flawed and was trying his best perhaps next season he will understand why hades did what he did.

You forgot demeter who poisoned the humans and basically the world so for that Hades gets his 2x1 nights with persephony and Hades allowed it. Also him killing Heron to rule Olympus will create more battles to come to seize the throne. Gaia was right none of them including Hades deserve to rule or power for that matter. So if Hades won’t do the underworld who will¿ the domain must have a ruler or its vacant with all the souls and Titans along with the giants down there¿ yeah spare me the BS of Hades Gaia was right if you gave a pass to Hera releasing the giants i will give Gaia a pass for releasing Typhon and ruin Hades plans.

@@altair227 Hades doesn’t care about ruling Olympus he never did. His goal was to get the power needed to make the others submit so he can get his family out of that tortuous realm, so they can be whole and so no one could force them to go back. Any number of them could probably rule that realm but none of them wanted it out of fear, so they tricked hades and gave him the short end. They all cheated him. Gaia ass could probably create another entity or anything to be guardian over the realm but she doesn’t. No one wants to help Hades but they expect him to give up his wants and needs so they can be happy. That’s a load bull

Zues and Hera are worst gods in greek mythogy. Zues does not leave any female creature on the planet and Hera instead of punishing her husband punishes the victims. Hades is the only god in greek mythology who did not violate other woman. Hades truly deserves to be the king

How ironic that Gaia turned out to be the worst one. She spent the whole season wagging her finger at the other gods, yet the second things don't go her way she decides to nuke EVERYONE. Typhons rampage will most likely hit the mortals worst of all. She bragged about forgiveness, yet through it out the window when Heron died.

Well,it's more so punishing the Gods for being selfish yet and yet again. Zeus and Hera to stay in Heaven,Zeus cheating,Hera attacking Olympus and that's just what we see in season 1. In season 2,Ares is being a dick to anyone and tries to get the throne and even Demeter sends a poison that kill humans in gruesome ways JUST to weaken the Gods and back in episode 8,they fight AGAIN despite Hera trying to deter them to do it,and when Heron tries to forgives everyone but that also needed to be the same laws as before,and Hades got tired of being left to the Underworld so he kills Heron and take the stone. Gaia decided that enough was enough,she unleashes Tyohon on the world. Sure it isn't the best response to it,but considering everything,she probably having a blank state is the better option

I didn't expect Gaia to be the one to speak the name... All my bets where on sore looser Demeter which would be in accordance with her behavior to mess things up for everyone when she's slightly inconvenienced. Until Gaia said she wanted to teach the gods a lesson through Heron and Hades judas-ed him.

For Hera, I was expecting that she would self-exiled herself from Mt.Olympus. And decided to live among the mortals for the purpose of trying to see in Zeus's point of view (falling in love with mortals). She would disguise herself as a (old/helpless) disfigured mortal female with a missing arm (Ugly & amputee). She is also doing this to punish herself by having the worst trait of appearance (guilt for Zeus). After same time, being mistreated by others (without revealing her identity), she unexpectedly manage to find a man that kindly treats her well with no malice and as time passes formed a relationship. Ultimately, what Hera can understand after following Zeus's point of view was that human being only have a very short life span (compare to Gods/Immortals) to prove/show genuine their affection towards other (not taking for guaranteed).

Not at all. He’s an antagonist. There is a difference. Villain means that he was evil. The show did not do that. Instead, he is fighting for his family which just happens to clash against the main character’s goals. That is why he is the antagonist.

The primordials i would love to see mother chaos herself and a her son the god of darkness the grandfather to all the gods.

In reality Hades was a good God and He always helped the Humans. Zeus was an evil God

They all done messed up now!!!! Typhon is gonna tear them open a new one!!! To err is human: but to forgive is divine. Heron was the best out of them all.... and his death only proved that the family he was born into was nothing more than bunch of selfish spoiled children who make others suffer greatly whenever they're slightly inconvenienced.....especially humans.

Mannn I feel like these seasons end just when they feel like they’re getting started. I hope these seasons come out faster because at this rate Elder Scrolls 6 will be out before season 3 of this😂

You seriously believe that?! Zeus decided that Persephone would spend 6 months with her mad mother Demeter so as to stop Demeter from laying waste on the Earth! Zeus despite boasting of grandiose power could literally do nothing to make Demeter see the folly of her ways.

I know everyone says Hades isn’t a villain but don’t forget he kidnapped Persephone. This show twists this as Demeter being the problem so Hades can be made the good guy, this is a perversion of the myth. This story was meant to be comforting to mothers who lost their daughters which was very common in Ancient Greece

Actually, even in the myths he was not the villain. The myths specifically goes out of its way to resolve him from any faults multiple times. Even Demeter doesn’t blame him. Instead, Zeus was the problem again (shocker). The only thing wrong that he did was the pomegranate part, but even that is debatable because the only surviving written copy was destroyed at that part.

@@DonghuaTianlong the show also made Ares an attempted *apist even though he’s never forced himself on a woman in any myth. He even killed one of Poseidon’s sons for assaulting his daughter Alcippe.

I'm sorry but is no one talking about how the character design went through a down grade? What happened? It's most noticible when you compare the characters eyes in s1 vs s2.
