A Blessed Night Prayer to Prayer Before Sleep - Lord, I Lay this Night at Your Feet - Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, as the night descends, and the gentle embrace of darkness envelops everything, I come before You with humility and gratitude.
I thank You for the blessings of this day, for the experiences that have shaped me, and for the gift of life itself.
In the stillness of this night, I seek Your presence, longing for Your peace to envelop me.
Be with me, Father, as I prepare to rest, and watch over my loved ones who sleep under the same sky. Guard us against harm, both seen and unseen, and grant us a deep and restful sleep.
Lord, I reflect on the events of this day, the joys and sorrows, the moments of achievement, and the challenges faced.
I ask for Your guidance and forgiveness where I may have fallen short. Grant me the strength to learn from my mistakes and the wisdom to grow from my experiences.
In this tranquil hour, I bring before You the struggles and pains of those less fortunate. I ask for Your compassion to touch their lives, providing solace, healing, and hope.
May Your love shine upon them, lighting their path through the darkness of their trials.
As I prepare to lay down to rest, I offer You my anxieties, my dreams, and my aspirations.
I entrust them to Your infinite wisdom and divine plan, believing that You will lead me in the right direction.
Lord, grant me the courage to face the uncertainties of the night and the days ahead. May Your light guide me, and Your love sustain me.
Help me to rise in the morning with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit ready to embrace the challenges and joys of a new day.
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2)
