One of the best sci romance I’ve read is one that literally reads like a poem. It’s so beautiful and jarring and a wonderful mixture of nature and space. It’s how to lose the time war and I’d take a bullet for it. It swings between a narrative and a letter exchange format it’s super good.

Its fantasy, its got adventure, romance, palace intrigue, a morally grey character, and Yona undergoes some of the best character development I've ever seen! You'll probably love the Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona Andrews. It's a romance series, sort of urban fantasy/sci fy. The main character is an innkeeper that has what it looks like a B&B but it's an inn for intergalastical species and she can design each room based on her guests' needs and culture. I actually thought of recommending it to you when you talked about hotels, but now that you mentioned sci-fy romance I was like!!!

Spock : In fact, Captain, you are not the only one to do that but the habit is mostly lost nowadays. Kirk : Why, Spock, why? Spock : Because it is not logical nor practical to smell an electronic tablet. But a book ? There is a range of informations you can get by smelling it. Kirk : Fascinating. So I tried reading The Winter King. I'm not great with explicit romance but I DO love fantasy so I gave it a go. There's one very specific anatomical thing that made me nope right out of there 😅 So curious to hear what you think when you get to it!

I read this a couple of years ago. On the whole, I liked it but in my opinion it was unnecessary long. I enjoyed maybe 2/3 of the book and couldn't wait for it to end. There is also a second book (different plot line) and I DON'T recommend it! :)
