Thanks for the video. I love biathlon. As you said, someone in first place can miss multiple shots on the last shoot and fall from the podium. I was lucky enough to see a BMW world cup event at Le Grand Bornand in December. It was awesome. One thing you can add is that some events have spare rounds that take about 8 seconds each to load. Also love Doro, but Lisa is my favorite and she had an outstanding year.
When you introduce a new student to the sport that has never used a rifle before, how do you help them choose which side to shoot from? How do you deal with different eye and hand dominance combinations to set them up for marksmanship success? I’m not a biathlete nor do I shoot as sport, but I do know I am right hand and left eye dominant which I imagine isn’t a great combination but I’m just guessing.
Does the terrain if WC biathlon events differ from cross country events? Why?
Ben Dover, huh? What kinda guns he's asking about? 🤔
This is the obligatory comment about Stina Nilsson. No reason.

Stina Nilsson to boost engagement 😂
I'm waiting for Nordic Combiathlon: Ski jumping + biathlon. I honestly think this could be an actual sport. You have three widely different skills and qualities having to come together. You're a good ski jumper, but your marksmanship is terrible. Or, you're not good at jumping, but you've got enormous pace like Lars Berger, but so-so rifle skills. Again like Lars Berger. This opens things up tremendously, making it one of the least predictable winter sports imaginable.

Why has no one done this? I'd totally watch it.

@@knutthompson7879 Likewise. After all, both are exclusively freestyle, and neither expect you to be either a powerhouse sprinter or a long distance O2 enthusiast.
