A BEAUTIFUL Town In Iceland's West Fjords | Isafjordur
Our second cruise port on our Icelandic cruise brings us to the West Fjords. We visit Isafjordur, a small town. Here we explore the cute downtown, take a short hike up to see an awesome view, and try some Iceland beers and snacks. We are so glad that we got to see this cute fishing village!

What a beautiful city! WOW! Gotta love the rain but it shouldn't slow you down. Same thing happened to us in Alaska! Thanks for sharing, we can't wait to go to Iceland!

There is a smallish waterfall you can walk to in Isafjordur called bunarfoss. We are going to hike to it when we are there later in the year.
Is there any reason the thumbnail is mirrored? Also, the museum building is indeed the municipal library. It also has the municipal archives, an art museum and a photography collection with extensive holdings dating back to 1890. The building was originally a hospital.
