Lower quality LED sources AND especially lower quality LED sources using DLP technology can be a tough thing to capture without a speed booster. This is a pretty fun device for ultra portability - it has some caveats - but I would be curious to see if they can improve its performance and IO's in future models. It reminds me of a better version of the AAXA Halloween projector I looked at a ways back. ( • For Halloween lovers, ... )

Back in my day, if you wanted focus you had to move either the screen or the projector until it looked okay. Nothing was good, just okay, dagnabbit. And we were blessed to have it.

Can I project my phone directly to the wimius so that it doesn't need any cables to run at all? Do I need an app for this or can I just cast my entire screen through mirroring on an Samsung?
Hi! If I connect my Android phone to the projector (usb-c to hdmi mini), will it work to project netflix or youtube please? If yes, does it work with any fairly recent Android phone model?

In the video you can see that those apps are already available on the projector (probably runs a reskin of android tv or something). What you are wanting to do will probably work, just haven't tested it. Just try connecting your phone to something like a TV, if it works, it'll probably work on the projector too.

I saw you got your hands on one of these too!
many reviews say battery runs only 45min? wish you tested it, also if you showed us day projection using only the battery and not when plugged in. UK adopter? and in EU what i do, get a converter? How many V is the device? Battling to choose between this one and the Elphas DLP portable. Any advice

This one probably wouldn’t be my highest recommend. If you’re looking portable I’m a fan of the MoGo projectors from Xgimi myself. This one is fun and has its place for its small size but lacks some customization modes.

any MoGo projectors with builtin battery? Been seeking for a camping projector that’s portable and easy to use.

@@tony1984 the OG MoGo and MoGo pro were built in, mogo 2 is not built in but an external battery can power it
