Going 'mono' cancels frequencies and changes the 'mix' and dynamics completely. If you want to know what any band sounds like, I suggest listening to them the way they spend their time and money to record and mix it. LOVEBITES sends their raw tracks from Japan to Finland to be mixed & mastered by a specific pair of engineers at FinnVox that they have hired from their beginnings so that all their work has THAT sound. I notice you are also putting the mono mix in your video. I do appreciate the link to original video in your description. Ironically, those who view it will hear LOVEBITES more properly than you two do. You are not "reacting" to what LOVEBITES worked hard and paid for you to hear... Consider if you recorded your own music, put in the work, time and expense, IN STEREO, share it with someone and they remix before listening...

I discovered Lovebites a little more than a year ago and I’m still in owe. They are breaking the walls of stereotypes in metal. Miyako is a classical trained pianist and an exceptional composer.

yes Miyako she makes guitar solos as if she was having tea. Normal for a genius who started to play the piano at the age of three. When you play Chopin on stage with your eyes closed, then a taping on some strings is a trifle.

Thats beauty to my ears, finally found someone that gets the jist of dual instrumentalists. Ironically enough ms miyako has achieved something I'm still inspired to make happen for myself from 3 yrs old and its the piano and guitar, two key instruments I couldn't surmise one over the other. If a live venue ever happened with Lovebites, beast in black and frozen crown came a reality my life would be complete. Masterful group, insanely masterful production team backing them up, just makes me smile ear to ear happily jamming out to them in my day to day routines continuing my practices and polishing the rusts off my studies.

Since 2015, Asami(vo) has been a member of 'Gospel Chronicle' before she joined LOVEBITES in 2016🎵

Miyako guitarist with dark hair is a concert pianist. She does backing tracks of piano, keyboards. It was in an interview, Midori and Miho were being asked questions, like why they wear white, Miyakos piano, keyboard playing, etc. they also use orchestra backing tracks recorded. Swan song , a great song to do, try and get the opening piano etude. Miyako plays piano.

And Miyako, the flying v guitar player is also the piano/keyboard player.

Watch Swan song (with piano intro) and you will see who is on the keyboard... or Burden of time, Empty daydream, Epilogue, Edge of the world... Little hint - pay attention to Miyako (finger tapping guitarist)

Ay nobodies crew, your guys reaction was the same to me when I first heard of lovebites it was swan song with the chopin etude (the original having the etude in the beginning and end, not clipped) where I was dumbstruck thinking "oh my god, I just didn't hear it?" sure enough one song came to the next being we the united, soon after thunder vengeance etc that all the while these girls produce with the melody being their statement and with such an insanely good production team to back it up to emphasize it makes me all the more a fan of them. "The talent in this band is beyond all levels." You summed up Lovebites, in one sentence, thank you. Great to see the reaction between you both. I do feel a bit sorry for the actor in the video, he seems so superfluous and in my view the video of Lovebites, playing in the church with some atmospheric outside shots would be enough. From my understanding, the song is about the world coming out of the Corona virus pandemic and the bloke is Jesus, offering hope to the world.

Is this the band with the keyboardist? Oh, my, you have no idea. Miyako (dark hair guitarist, audience right) who composes a lot of their music, is a concert-level classical pianist, and was originally on track to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and we now see the result. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude. All five members of the band are Jedi-level musicians, but I think Miyako is a once-in-a generation talent, a true savant. Fastest click of my life. I like this song because it's an interesting combination of metal with gospel. There may be more of this out there, but this was a first one for me.

@Kai Marcad Almost all of their songs contain a positive message. Asami, the singer, is always smiling, always happy, as is Haruna, the drummer, and Midori, the blonde guitarist. Miho, the bassist, and Miyako, the brunette guitarist, are a little more reserved but they do lighten up in other songs. This is the most positive metal band out there in the secular world. You won't be disappointed with them at all. Come join the wolfpack if you feel bitten.

Asami, She is not a Queen, She is not a Princess, She is Empress Of Metal. Generally all of them are Goddesses of music. And you are Kings of reaction to Ladies. Stay safe. Stay Lovebites.

I call them "princesses".... because they are young and so beautiful. We also call them metal goddesses. The term "queen" refers to an older person. A princess will grow-up to be a queen one day, but when she is young... she is a princess. LOVEBITES ladies are still young. They are too old to be "girls", but they are still too young to be "queens". That's my take on it, anyway.

Miyako the one with the Dean. Is classical trained in piano. She picked up the guitar at 18.

Miyako is playing her Dean signature guitar and on her KZread channel she talks/shows it. She did not start playing the guitar until she was 17/18, prior she played classical piano starting at 6 yo. At these ladies level of talent they don't have to practice as much as mere morals.

I didn't think Asami was old enough to be called "queen" yet! She is still young, so I call her "princess"! She will be QUEEN one day, no doubt about it! Maybe when she reaches the ripe old age of 40.... we will call her QUEEN! ;-)

Fun song. They did a great job on it. Mayu can't come close to Dickinson... but she makes the vocals her own.

The answer: Asami and the rest of, “The wolves in white”, are princesses. Absolute royalty in Japan metal. The Queen of the metal world is Suzuka Nakamoto… For now at least. My personal favorite musician is Hazuki from Nemophila.

Shared earphones?? Bad choice....both missed half guitar madness.... Lovebites comes full Stereo Baby..Midori and Miyako through different channels...

Lovebites songs are in stereo, which means Midori's guitar is in one ear, and Miyako's is in the other, so unless you have special audio settings on your earpieces then each of you is only hearing half the music. Just saying, correct if I am wrong.

Not bad. Really got into the music. The singer had a very beautiful ( and I agree with father, very Disney like ) voice but it didn't fit well with the music for me. To me her voice wasn't metal enough. I think she rocks but more in the way that Freddie Mercury rocks.

Yeah, let's have a new metal band that sounds exactly the same as "every other metal band". Is that what you want? Princess Asami is a breath of fresh air on this genre. I for one..... LOVE HER. She's perfect. Miyako, Miho, Haruna, and Midori knew what they were doing when they recruited Asami. Now they have a DREAM TEAM.

I like the full spectrum from opera to growl type of voice, from asami and floor jansen to tatiana schmayliuk. But frankly this piece is a masterpiece, waiting so much to watch it live to see how they can kerp the beat and the synch at this pace
