A Ball Python gets LOOSE in our Hotel Room! (Arlington, TX Vlog)
From an escaped snake, to Emily's purse getting stolen, our trip to Arlington, Texas certainly was eventful! Watch to see what shenanigans Ed and Emily got into on this trip. Thankfully a lot of good food was also involved ;)

Glad the trip was fun~! Fun fact: Braums only opens within 24 hour drive of their farm, so everything is freshly made in their store. Milk, beef, bread, cream cheese, cheesecake, and so much more. ALSO about 4 isles worth of signature ice cream, sherbet , and frozen yogurt. Great spot to stop while traveling through the Midwest~!

I LOVE Braums! I'm in Texas, where Bluebell reins supreme, but Braums has my heart. Their ice cream is amazing. My only complaint for their flavors, is the chocolate chips aren't chunky. If you drink skim milk, it's the BEST, because they add more milk solids to it when they remove the cream. That little grocery store, reminds me of an old favorite from my youth in Ohio--Goshen Dairy. They were exactly like Braums.

I don't know, I think it's more likely to just be an opportunistic thief. If they knew who they were, then they would probably know theres more valuable stuff elsewhere in the van, and not grab just the purse. And I don't know how common it is to look up the person they stole from once the cards get blocked, so I don't think theres too much of a risk for them to find out where the keys belong unless theres a logo on it or something

My family had our rental van broken into during our summer vacation one year because my mom left her camera bag on the floor of the front passenger side, and we learned from the police that these kind of thieves are just opportunistic so they basically go around and quickly peer through windows and if they see an easily accessible purse-looking object, SWIPE. Literally seconds. The most they take time for is to check if the door is unlocked, if it is then it's a smash-and-grab like ours was. The only unfortunate thing was my mom had put our passports in her camera bag so those were gone...ironically, she'd taken her camera with her so that wasn't stolen. lol We reported and got them replaced pretty easily but the real mystery of the story is when my Dad answered the phone late one night several years later and it was some person claiming to have 4 out of 5 of our stolen passports O_o They did actually have them and the only one missing was my youngest sibling's. I'm not sure what became of them after that but it was pretty wild in hindsight.
I can't believe someone stole your purse! Hopefully it's not something that happened here in Texas. You all have so many fans down here. Hopefully at some point your able to make it a little further south. It would be a dream to meet you.❤

As an equestrian Dover is the best store ever!!!!! For Ed: Shovel = pitchfork used for cleaning stalls and hay. Hey Emily! I carry a purse too and also travel for work. When I travel I carry a smaller purse that only has what I need for the convention (pen, charger, sanitizer) and then all the other important stuff either goes in my phone case thats on me or in a place that people wouldnt look in the hotel room (clearly not saying ideas because then it ruins it). When it comes to keys and other cards, I'll only take a spare house key that goes on a necklace or in my suitcase and if its a card I dont need it stays home. I ONLY say this because what happened to you did to me on my first work trip and I lost everything. ugh, it must have been so stressful to lose your purse! This is why I always have mine on me if I'm out, or, if I have to leave it in the car, I hide it under a seat etc so it's not easily visible to anyone walking by - makes it a lot less likely to be tempting to someone. I'm so glad at least nothing seriously important was stolen.

*Dover!* The ultimate equestrian store! Lol I laughed so hard watching y’all walk around in there. I have a horse and that is absolutely the place to go for all your stuff. Those long whips were for dressage, bridals are the headpiece that you ride in, and those “Gumbits” are just so mouthy horses have something to do or for nervous horses to focus on in possibly stressful situations.
As a horse person you guys walking around a Dover Saddlery has to be the funniest thing 😂❤
Definitely love the vlog/behind the scenes extras :)
Fuzzy's taco fan here. Had never heard of it until my friend took me there for lunch. Addicting! Torchy's looks similar. Nice and fresh, loaded w/lots of cilantro!
You can't convince me that Emily hadn't been secretly paid by Buc-ees to advertise for them because she makes me want to leave Oregon on a trip just to see one.

It’s funny because I heard Stephen and Mal talk about one last week and now I want to go to one 😆
Looool as someone who is both into reptiles and horses it's fun to see Emily both utterly confused and sort of know things about horses. Also this is why wallets are superior. That never leaves my pocket. But I'm sorry for your purse.
I love these types of videos from any creator but my favorite will always be yall's❤
Yes, please continue. These vlogs are fun!
I am an equestrian, and it was cool seeing horses included in the video, a very small part, but still. I've been watching yall for a while it just stood out to me. I love reptiles and horses soooo much. Thanks for posting all the time and making such entertaining videos. Love you guys... xoxo ❤️
The python getting loose reminded me of a time our cat got lost in a hotel room when I was growing up and he was behind a furniture piece the whole time. Emily at Buc ee’s was hilarious, as well as a lot of aspects of this video. You guys do have adventures don’t you. Lol. P.S. always take purse where you go, no matter what. Also I would put new locks on doors just to be safe.
I get tired of walking to my kitchen from the sofa. I don’t know how you do this lol.😂
My husband and I (native Kansans) were geeking out over the places you visited! Though we're sorry about the whole purse snatching... Glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been!
for some reason, these vlog type videos are my absolute fave on the channel! i'd love to have more of these, the longer the better i say! and chyenne talking was such a treat!! it's so rare to hear her speak and vocalize in the videos
As someone who loves Reptiles(and animals in general), has been watching you guys for years, and who has/rides horses. I loved this episode!!! I fangirled when you guys got to go into the Dover Saddlery. Wish I had one of those in my area!
I’m so excited to see you so excited. It makes me happy. I’m so sorry about the purse :(
I live in Minnesota, about 40 minutes from your store. My 7 people family is going to Texas too, and driving. Its so long. I can't wait. I love your videos! 😊
Emily... You've just mentioned publicly that your facility keys were stolen. That's a bit of a security risk...
I spent the whole video watching Emily's purse (as if me watching it would rewrite the past.) Sorry to hear it was stolen but I'm glad the rest of the trip went well. Luggage/Oden the snake is adorable

For those wondering, it's around 23:55 they talk about it
Thank you for showing me all your adventures 😃
I like the vlog style videos so make some when you feel like it. It was great meeting both of you and Phil. I hope we will see you again next year at the Arlington show.
I know you love all your animals but your care and love for Cheyenne is so wholesome. ☺️

They lpove their [pets like they are their kids. Wonderful!
As a Texas native, Texas isn’t known barbecue, it’s known for Tex-Mex, there’s tons of places you can only find in Texas. The Houston zoo is the second most visited zoo in the US, second only to the San Diego Zoo. They have red pandas.
The bearded dragon on the dash board is having the time of its life!!
Why are these videos so entertaining? I love your guys videos! I have always admired you guys for your love of reptiles, sadly my mom won't let me get a reptile😭
