I have that attitude in my 30’s but women think I’m lazy. Lol, I’m not as ambitious and payed off my home, lost interest in making serious money once my friend died from cancer at 35. I have lost interest in social media and being someone I’m not; I am getting judged and rejected for this, being told I have a bad attitude towards life, yet you find this attractive on an old man. No offence but you females are not right these days.

@striving1 I take good care of myself. I watch my weight and see my doctors as needed. I rest, exercise, and make healthy choices in the foods I eat. That is why I don't feel old. I don't look old either.

I'm 72 & I love being my age think I am blessed. Go with the flow keep fit/healthy age is just a number. Keep active happiness does come from within. Life is what you make it. Do right things then don't stress/worry.

Also don’t try to change others to what you want. Marriage and or baby are too often hoped to finally motivate someone to change. Maybe but maybe not and if yes it can also make things worse. We only control us. Accept others as they are esp in life time commitments.

36-year-old 100% agreeing. I've already hit the point of telling employers to go away and stop being so disrespectful of my time for crap money. I've worked so hard, sometimes 18-22 hours a day...never ever again. Be strict with the time you're prepared to give in an environment where you are completely replaceable and focus more on the areas where you aren't replaceable because it is just more important.

That's such a great lesson. I sometimes forget that moments, especially moments shared, are meant to be enjoyed if it's a possibility. Your loved ones will one day die.

Relax is good advice. When I was younger, I used to get so upset when people said hurtful things to me. It has taken a long time, but I am slowly learning to not let others opinions get to me. I will never understand why people feel the need to judge someone to their face and say nasty things.

I think people ( even my self sometimes ) have the need to judge others so that they feel good about themseves. By focusing on other people's flaws(or actually what they personally consider flaws) they relax themselves from having to think about their own flaws(which is very unpleasant for most people) and also the more they judge the more they develop an illusionary idea that they themselves are better than they actually are. Which of course is a baloon which will inevitably pop...

He is a very handsome men sound very wise the comment he gave is so true we need to enjoy life sometime I forget to do that.❤️

I’m 64. He’s authentic with his view and I think it’s spot on. I think there is plenty of room for ambition though. 64 has more runway than ever before.

Well everyone needs to relax because we aren't robots. But enjoying life can mean many things to a person. Also its psychology shows younger people to be more career oriented and older people to be more relationship oriented which makes a lot of sense.

I am 64 and totally agree with him! I would add that you become totally fine with having a smaller circle of people around you. Our high school reunions are now every five years become so many have died, lol! Hey, it happens!

I'm 66 and have always stayed active. Its good as he says to be ambitious, thats what your youth is for so when you reach this age you can sound like him. He sounds like he did well in preparing for this stage in his life. I relate to him. So many I have seen who died prematurely and did not enjoy life properly.

He looks great at 64, now that’s not old anyway, but he seems very with it, very current, looks good, yet very realistic about life ups and downs. Good for him.

My friend is 97 and looks young. She has attitude, does things her way and looks much younger. If i ever need advice/ opinion, she has such wisdom and perspective.

Hes right. The sixties is the beginning of feeling old. You definitely feel old in your seventies. I dont know about eighties yet. I'm almost there and I'm lucky because im healthy.
