little tip. When running gun pods use the weapon selection to fire only the pods. When they are almost depleted you can jettison them for the performance boost and still have your internal cannon to fight with. GG

ah, the A-4E, the thing that made spading the Lim-5P an absolute breeze

fun fact. the a4e can break mach in a dive from 7km if starting the dive from max speed at that alt without ripping. did it in a sim game once

3 pods is cool for Assault, and ground pounding, but that's about it unless your a really great shot.

I love a4e wish i could get carrier maps

Considering it’s a strike aircraft those cannons are more than likely for ground assault as anti material like the majority of the options for payload, although in a pinch would work in a dogfight.

the selling point of the a4e is the 5 bullpups for ground rb. with a bit of practice you can easily get 5kills.

I had a lot of success with this plane in Air arcade. Base bombing from 25,000ft with the 14x500lbs load out. Not so much in realistic because of lack of CCIP and fact that you start from the ground while F-84Fs, Vatour, Canberra, and IL-28 get air spawn.

As an A4E player.... (first jet, got it from squadron :) ) this jet is amazing after you get upgrades... but before the upgrades this jet makes me want to crawl into a cave and love there.

Same here! I’ve played a few games with it, and so far, I love using the Walleye bombs. They are very fun. The AIM 9b’s are a pain in the ass sometimes, but when used well, are very satisfying

Its gonna be painful with the current state of matchmaking pitted US vs everyone I recently spading it and it was a torture with MiG, french MDs, british swift and sea vixen It so worse that you going to get US vs US match but guess what? Your entire team is consisted of A-4s and F-84 and 86, while the enemy? They got Harrier...

When grinding Squadron toys do point from all modes count towards the vehicle or only game of that type? BTW I am an CAS nut. Most of my point are ground attacking

it doesnt matter how many points you get when researching this vehicle. you just need to have enough activity playing the game in general when in a squadron

I have got it, now BEFORE su25 it was good plane that was good at hit and run due to lots of brrt and 8 missiles when spaded but missile kinda suck and no flares, NOW YOU ARE JUST FOOD FOR SU25 TO GOBBLE so feel free to not play this thing in air rb, at least not now cuz of maybe su25s will die down in number, in ground rb assuming an spam doesn't catch you when going in for a kill, it's pretty good using bombs but problem is it goes too fast and you can't drop when going very fast but with custom load outs you can drop 2000 pound and 2000 pound and 3 pairs of 1000 pound bombs ALONG with brrt and and missiles, so it's quite packing, but still I think (didnt try but i think) a10 is better cuz guided munitions and thermals and longer range and FLARES, F4C is a giga Chad plane, but I'll be honest that it isn't the best although it was certainly a fun experience flying it, just don't play against su25 or you die immediately...
