A few Fun fact about Bequia, there schools on Bequia , the children who travel to and fro is because the were place in the top schools which is located in mainland. There is police and small hospital. The people mainly use rain water, bottle, a cistern system also ,and water is ferry from the mainland during dry season when water is low. White sand beach only . History fact: slave ship sank between Bequia and St. Vincent and the enslaved african swam to the mainland and intermarried with the 'caribs" and produced the kalinago people today... every easter there is a big festival under the 'almondtree" in the harbour ,boat racing, and other competion and partying.

We Vincy people always say Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. We are going down to the Grenadines, we are going to Bequia. If we are on Bequia, we say we are going up to mainland. I think because we always want to make sure we don't separate the Islands.

I love this episode more so because my beautiful island is featured in it. Most houses on Bequia are built with concrete tanks which can sustain us throughout the dry spell if we are very careful, we try not to waste water here and there are concrete wells throughout the island as well to help with the water problem.

The best part is the dolphins. The people of Bequia is who made the island the way it is today. They are the heart and soul. The boats are all own and operated by Families of Bequia. They are the best at what they do, the boat are usually from Norway, where they are operated in the north sea.
