A 3-humbucker loaded pickguard: will it work?
Loaded pickguards like this are easy to install, but may need some additional attention. For those who like their guitar to be capable of producing many sounds, this concept is effective. Along with a kill switch, it has 3 humbuckers and each of them have a dedicated toggle switch so to split the corresponding pickup. A push/push pot is added to the lower tone pot to turn on and off the neck pickup so it can be combined with the other pickups via the blade pickup selector switch. Also added is a treble bleed on the volume pot. These additions allow for even more versatility.

If you put a "Quick Connect" in your guitar Jack location, and the other connector on your "loaded" Pickguard, you can swap all the electronics and Pickups in under 10 minutes, without any soldering. This makes one guitar as versatile as the number of loaded Pickguards you have. There's a short video on YT called "Tutorial: Quick-Swap Pickguards for Strats" that shows how simple it can be. I can swap a loaded pickguard on my Strat in about 8 minutes from loosening the strings, to tuning up with the Loaded Pickguard ready to go.

Screw the jack plate inside out to one hole on the guitar body, than your soldering won't look so clumsy and messy
