k series sound so good, I love my 10th gen but k series is unmatched

Just picked up a 2013 Black Civic Si Coupe two days ago…coming from driving an aging 2000 subaru Impreza, even with the shorter rev limit with the K24 this thing is a rocket and so fun to drive. Rev matching is so easy and shifts like butter.

No lie, ive gapped base dodge chargers in my stock 9th gen. Which ever one has the v6. Hell ive even given malibus and impalas the work too. Lol it’s definitely faster than other economy cars. I love the engineering that goes into these motors. I love the fact that Honda is still catering to its enthusiast based customers with manual only entry level sports cars and higher hp cars (type R). Its not slow. Its quick. And thats more than enough for public roads with ppl and kids around. What ever happened to cars just being able to put a smile on your face with out it having to have a million HP? 🙄 ppl calling these cars slow probably can’t even drive a manual.

I gapped a v6 challenger (who was definitely racing because he straight piped so you could hear him revving) with my 2014 ex with a 1.8😂

As an FG4 owner I love these cars. Even at stock power level.

God I love that sound

Not the fastest, but one of the coolest car gens to have since they basically stopped making the naturally aspirated DOHC 4 cylinder engine with v-tec. They don't have this nor have something similar in the 10th gen models. Plus it looks cool when modded. 6 speed manual as well adds an icing to the cake.

I remember when mine was stock (two weeks ago) A coupler came off for a few minutes and I hated it.

Honda civic si is no lambo or bmw. But at the end of the day offer practicality and affordabilty which is what puts a smile on owners faces. You can drive them down your favorite backroads without getting into to much trouble.

All the people saying these are slow are the same dummies on my commute every day that try me and get the sauce in my 8th gen fbo Si 🤣 I literally just raced an audi S4 yesterday and it was neck and neck that's a supercharged v6 or N/A v8 motor depending on the year and it was dead even he pulled about a car ahead on a 15 mph roll then I reeled him in a bit then it stayed like that till 100. Even stock these cars aren't "slow", just not 11 second fast

@@mattsk8s543 it’s not bad at all compared to a higher end vehicle. i absolutely love my 9th gen civic. I’d say it’s a good deal for sure. plenty of mods and tuning you can do to them as well, or if you wanna drive them stock, they’re just as fun! and you can’t beat that MPG stock or not.
