This was a test day done earlier this year onboard the 992 CUP MANTHEY RACING.
On that day it was 2°C and starting snow flakes + aquaplaning, the worst condition you can find on a track with race tires!
Almost impossible to warm up the tire and then after the Ferrari crash it was red flag anyway
In the video you can see the brand new FERRARI 296 GT3, FERRARI 288 GT3 and a GT4 RQS clubsport
a nice experience :-)

Looks like the car forgot what “turn in” is under those conditions 🫣! That and the necessity to early shift makes this as scary as it is satisfying to watch!! Razors edge racing there !!

Au castellet, les traj pluies font vraiment la différence. Signes tout à l'exterieur, la verrerie faut braquer très très tard en entrée et croiser, à l'hotel pareil faut pas prendre les cordes. Tu rallonges mais tellement + de grip! T'avais quoi comme comme pneus?

Oui sur les points de freins aussi plus au centre pour eviter la gomme Mais pas évident la prise en Main par ces conditions 😢
Can the drive actually feel when or if the car may spin in those conditions? How do you avoid spinning out??

Track knowledge and very judicious use of the throttle lol. He is not using all the cars power except in a straight line. Even the downforce can’t compensate for the lack of traction.

@@TooManyChoices1 We're gonna have to master artificial gravity then lol imagine that ... downforce by gravitational attraction. Spinning out in wet conditions will be thing of the past.

@@Corteum Basically you’re describing “fan cars”. Look up the good wood festival of speed “fan car” run. Damn car could have almost full downforce basically while sitting completely still. A large fan creates a low pressure zone under the car and sucks it to the ground even when sitting still.

@@TooManyChoices1 No I mean something else. A more advanced technology that harnesses artificial gravity waves. Gravity waves like those that were detected in 2015 by LIGO detectors. Theyve been theorized to exist for a long while, but we only recently observed/measured them. Our physics allows for them to be generated artificially. But we're not quite there yet. A ways to go.
