But twice the scent . I use 3 or 4 kernels of corn depending on the size . I also liked the puffed corn as it floats and becomes softer when wet , but sadly I cannot find it anywhere now.

Yup I like wild places like Loch Lomond, cannot be arsed with carp fishing. The UK carp guys sure know how to catch them though, Europe too. This is like watching a caveman try catch fish. Would give you a few tips for catfish too, same kinda game.

That's why English are best in the world at carp fishing

Just use yellow foam and trim it to corn shape. Holds scent longer. Or cork for tigers and bottom boilies

Me and a coworker started a feeding frenzy with corn, water, cherry koolaid and breadcrumbs.

Been fishing our local carp city open tournament for almost 30 years tried almost everything and just put the corn on the hook! Works the best in the river!

You are so right about that, I still fish for bass, and cat fish, and probably always will to some degree, but there's nothing like finding for carp. I love it..

I was making fake corn out of yellow foam years and years ago, then using it in conjunction with fake floating and fake sinking corn of varying sizes, and the foam I use has plenty of air bubbles which act as cavities to absorb flavour soaks, to add attraction which is good. , making it critically balanced as you want, keep up your tinkering, the more stuff you do the more you learn rig mechanics, and the more fish you catch. 👌

Too much detail just put 4 corn kernels enough to cover hook and away you go works great for me

I use bread crumbs and it works fine. Caught a decent size carp the other day with it

strawberry pop and wheaties dough bait has worked well for me for many years now

Is stuff like this necessary, I’m sure it works better and you would do this if your going for trophies or something but just to go out regular carp fishing for some fun is all this rigging really needed?

I have never seen anyone use a fluro hooklength for carp fishing, and I've been fishing for 43yrs. The hooklink should be virtually invisible, and thats the whole point.

If I show it on a transparent line, nothing will be visible. I've only been fishing for 30 years and I don't have the same experience as you, but our rivers are muddy and we catch carp with any colored line on a short leash and it works...

What is the name of that yellow ball you’re using as a float? I never fished carp like this ever! Back home we snagged them with 3 prong hooks, or shoot them with compound bows since they are invasive. But for a little kid catching one of those it’s fun as hell!

Forget corn. The good old worm works well. I use worms all the time with very good results. My favourite is the Lobbie Worm. Had Pike Carp Tench Catfish Perch
