he willingly chose to be a part of the SS. it was completely voluntary. SS are not the same as normal soldiers. This kind of thinking is completely excusing the role he and everyone else who willingly stole from played in starving them, torturing, and murdering those victims. Because he wasn't really guilty of anything. He was an accountant, didn't want to engage there, worked to disprove Holocaust deniers, and testified against his officer to get them jailed/executed. He wasn't charged back then because we actually understood justice and that this man didn't need jail time.

Many thanks to the justice department for sentencing this 93 year old man. I feel soooo much safer.

Wtf if he hadn't been a soldier he would've been killed or beaten for insubordination. Yes he did things in his life but he's 93 years old. Let him live his last few years in peace. What good will it do anyone if he spends his last 3 years in prison? It won't change what happened

Prisons get money for the more people they have in jail

Prison is for teaching people to understand what they did wrong, and to keep them out of public, for safety. This is a damn 93yr old man, who has had decades to dwell on his past, and exactly what threat to society does he pose???

Wolf Reviews prison should be for reforming, it is in Norway. Reformation is the only purpose for prison that makes sense.
