I honestly was so captured with what I was seeing during the premiere that I didn't have the words to say in the chat at the time. I'm both honoured and amazed by how much work you put into making this animatic and I absolutely love it! Everything from the way Angel's expressions were so well rendered, the finer details of the locket, Val appearing in the mirror and all of the numerous posters, even things like colour only being introduced when Angel had to put on his act once again despite what happened. You've done a truly amazing piece of work here and I really hope that as many people as possible get to see it and praise it with all the compliments it deserves. Thank you so much for using my cover as your inspiration and thank you for rendering the intended tone of the song's message with that amount of care. Superb!

Yes it took me back to my abuse but-equally it was empowering as I've gotten away from it. I hope Angel finds happiness. I don't want him redeemed in Heaven-I just want him free of Valentino.

I like how you can OD in Hell without the whole "dying" thing. Like you go through all the motions, pain, anguish, etc, but then you just get up. Adds to the whole Hell thing I guess

When he smiled at the end, it gave me chills! Thinking of how that’s always how we see him, confident and crazy, but he’s suffering so badly…omg u just captured it perfectly! I’m gonna go cry now

The roof scene along with the very last picture was the best. It was realistic in a way that hits even harder because by the end you know he just goes through this, breaks down and still has to get back up and do it all over again..

As much as I love this portrayal of Angel dust's situation, artstyle and cover. I like that in 3:45 This scene would transition to the song "Addict", that is also an Angel dust song!. I just Love it.

Honestly this cover is better than the original and fits the character soo well

Unfortunately a lot of the time when someone with a mental disability is suffering or having an episode we often hide this pain behind a mask , we pretend we are fine when in reality where really not , just like Angel here we are screaming but no one can hear our scream, for many it’s hard for us to seek help/get help , some of us don’t feel we deserve help even though it’s extremely obvious we need help , if you know anyone who suffers from any mental disability such as PTSD, depression, Anxiety and they suddenly seen off in any way even if in tone of voice , talk to them, be there for them, it might not feel like your doing much but as someone who has a mental disability I can tell you this for nothing, you being there to talk to us or just to listen will do tons for us if we are willing or able to open up. Regarding the video however I have to agree with everyone here in comments, you have done a fantastic job keep it up.

Disassociation, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and BPD person here, I can say that that is true…but also, sometimes we don’t WANT to get help, bcuz that means everyone is right and there’s really something wrong with us- among other reasons, ofc.

This is probably the best animatic I've seen for this song ever. You captured Angel's emotions brilliantly, and not to mention you drew him incredibly well too. This is extremely impressive for only six months of work time, and you should be proud. I gave it my thumbs up. ;)

My words of respect: 1 - Beautifully drawn, great story building. An overall masterpiece. 2 - Perfectly captures the emotions of an assault victim. I, luckily, have not been through this, but I have a friend who has that was reminded of the relief they experienced escaping as they watched this. 3 - Anyone else notice how the end kinda looks like the beginning of the Addict music video?

The entire time I watched this I was just admiring how smooth the lineart is. I always stop at the sketch stage cause my lineart is so shaky and inconsistent. I covet these buttery smooth lines.

I’ve never heard this whole song before. I didn’t realize how dark it is also poor angel. I love him so much. I’m so glad he has people to lean on now that the show is actually out

This is utterly superb! I loved the details, the expressions... but what mostly caught me off guard was the ending: his smile when the lights turn on. I'm sincerely amazed. Good job!

3:50 the perfect summary of angels character it speaks high and low so many volumes

I honestly have NO words.. but Imma say something anyways- THAT WAS INCREDIBLE ❤ Even just the short skit in the beginning with voice acting, along with me being absolutely amazingly surprised at how well Angel's vocals flowed throughout the song, even the bg vocals.
