'91 Mitsubishi Pajero SWB | Ordinary Rides

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A brief walkaround and test drive of a 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero short wheelbase. This three door Pajero, Montero, Shogun, whatever Mitsubishi decided to call it is a pretty sweet little rig. Miguel enjoys it a lot.

Bought a ‘91 model exactly like this two years ago and I simply love it.

Thanks! I wouldn't recommend going quite as open, it's a bit droney. A little more open than stock would be perfect I think.

I need to get one of these as well as I have trouble in tight bush tracks with my 1993 LSE LWB Range Rover, terrible turning cycle. Hard to find the SWB Pajero in Australia. Would look nice to have a Pajero Evolution parked next to it in the garage.

Sick ride man it looks very clean for the age and mileage. I’m looking at importing one from Japan into Canada. Are the rear seats able to be removed completely? Would you be able to take some measurements of the cargo space with the rear seats folded down? Much appreciated!!

Thank you! I'd love to import a clean one from Japan too, they're such great little rigs. The rear seats are completely removable, 6 bolts if I remember correctly. I'd measure it all out for you but she's at the mechanic's at the moment getting performance headers and a custom exhaust fitted. Should take care of the exhaust leaks and perhaps free up a few more horses.
