I saw the Grass Roots in the 70s at an Airman's Club and they were so good! I'd always loved them, so this was a really exciting time for me. Midnight Confessions is a great song!

I was late to the Grass Roots. Picked up a CD a few years ago containing all their hits. Quite impressive but more importantly quite enjoyable. Jessica looks beautiful, like her parents. 😊

Well, I have been reading the history of the Grass roots. Warren was not the founder according to the Documentary on the Grassroots. Dunhill had a song, Midnite Confession. That Fellow Sloan and Barri are listed as the founders. They are working with Dunhill and needed a group to play the song and 2 others.. He along with Creed were chosen and 2 others were third band chosen to record the songs. He only played with group as they play the songs for the Producers. And Also, the executive working with Dunhill doesn't even mention Warrens name as being anything more than a member in the band. The Creed also left after 2 years. His connection to the Grassroots lasted only 2 years. Anyway, it is all on tape if anyone doubts the info, go look it up. Finally, it is interesting how the first 5 or 6 people interviewed on various shows. All tell different stories.
