Welcome to The Stupid And Contagious podcast, a podcast focused on bringing you interviews with the bands that defined a generation!
That generation grew up in the 90s with the Grebo bands (Senseless Things, PWEI, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Mega City Four, The Wonderstuff and many more) on the UK side of the pond and quickly joined by the grunge bands (Nirvana, Mudhoney, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and many more) on the US side of the pond.
We are not limiting ourselves to these genres though, we will chart the guitar bands from all genres throughout the decade that was the 1990s.

Another interesting interview. I've only recently watched the full length video for Weekender and the song makes even more sense now! I love rediscovering old music through your podcasts.

Great Interview once again......I say it again, Great job lads. I was a Flowered Up fan from around It's On the first time around! Tim talked about the Maher brothers candidly and I thought that was quite interesting and Heartfelt! Cheers again, Lads :)

Thanks friend! 🤘🏻I think everyone recognises what a sad story the Maher brothers is of how it played out. They left us with ‘Weekender’ though, what a legacy!
I’ve often wondered how Liams vocal would have worked out on from the rush hour by republica would have worked out

I enjoyed it, another good interview dudes. I never linked saffron of Republica with the one who sang on Anthem for NJoi (and perfect for Lukes, mix a cracking track). Man he talked about underworld and fluke as well brilliant. Underworlds DJ Darren Emerson was awesome as well.

Not sure if it's editing genius or a dodgy connection, but at around 17:06 (during the explanation of sibilance), Dave says "sibilant" and the "s" is silent!!! Perfect serendipity or comedy editing?!? :D
