  • @HayChaffandSawdust1

    @HayChaffandSawdust1

    Ай бұрын

    @IndianaDoug Just to chime-in where I wasn't invited, I believe it was .003" of piston clearance and .008 of ring gap... if that makes a difference in your comment? Again, not arguing, just trying to learn.

  • @IndianaDoug

    @IndianaDoug

    Ай бұрын

    @@HayChaffandSawdust1ha ha, no worries at all. Do you think Harvey has .03” on both sides of the piston? Or .03” total? That would be the question. I had a 395 with that much and it slapped like grannie hearing you cuss for the first time.

  • @HayChaffandSawdust1

    @HayChaffandSawdust1

    @@IndianaDoug THAT'S some serious slappin"!! I was talking with him earlier and I understood it to be 0.003 total as we were discussing whether it was enough or if it would cold seize with the cast sleeve; also discussing the ~.007 ring gap as plenty small. He may jump in and straighten us (me) out if I misunderstood. ...speakin' of slappin" 😉😉

    You are back to looking healthy again. You can see the difference in your face and the energy you give off. A lot more like the Harvey from a few years ago. I had some things going on in my life for awhile that just made me put my hobbies and my KZread watching on hold for a couple years (no not prison, lol) and when I came back to it that’s when you were really having the worst of your health problems and it was really hard to see you go through that after all you’ve given to all of us. It’s just really good to see you doing better. Use that better health for whatever you want to do whether that’s being here for all of us or not. You’ve given so much that you deserve whatever it is that you want now. Take care.
