I had mine black was given to me by my mentor an old Texan man that meet me when i rented one of his apartments, he meet my mom and she asked him to keep an eye on me, I was young and with all that comes with it, anyways the one I got from him was stock with the tiny carburetor and its 350 and original transmission, without all that stuff that car would peeled them tires and push as good as he did on the video... I got pulled over at 110mph, then the ol man took the car away from me...lol... but he give it back before he died ... his daughter was a total b#tch a disgraceful person only interested in his money and hated that we were that close .... I'll never forget him...

As someone that has been for a ride in this beast I can tell you that’s the wildest “900hp” I’ve been in! Nice interview Nick! Now turn up the boost!

@@rite2beararms What a 500 dollar junk yard motor? Not really. You can build a big block that performs the same that can last years even with twin turbos and it would be cheaper in the long run. I also think about things like labor. It's not really much more to invest in a forged rotating assembly. Keep in mind an LS is still just a small block Chevy.
Damn that’s clean...and dirty at the same time. Rad build
I love this car and the home built nature of it..looks awesome!
I just wanted to thank you for completing my high school hotrod…. I owned a 1980 Monte Carlo that originally had the v6 and I worked after high school on a Home Depot budget trying to make it hot rod worthy. I ran into so many problems but I still was able to swap the v6 to a 5.7 but my tranny was too small so I got a used th350 from a c10… fly wheel and torque converter were also from the v6 c10. Some how it still worked. It was running mid 14s when I took it to the track. Later on I changed out the rear gears from stock to 3.73 min posi. I only pulled one track run before I deployed to Iraq in 04 and had to park the car. During deployment I divorced my ex wife and she scrapped my car:( anyways I always wondered what it would look like if some one went all the way. So I thank you as I dont think I will ever get the Chance to repeat the process any time this life.
I love that 1980 Chevy Monte twin turbo 900hp is a beast
Always been a fan of that body style Monte Carlo
Wow. This is absolutely awesome. Twin Turbo. So awesome. 👍👍🔥🔥
That's a kick azz car..the stance is perfect and has the power to back it up.
This Ford owner, approves! 😎😉 I've always had a spot in my heart for these cars. Well done.
1980 Monte! My first car. Mine was slow af and had t-tops. Always loved the body style of these and this year especially due to the twin headlights. I liked the squares in the tailights better then the other couple years that had similar design. All them little details that make difference. Sweet ride👍🍻

Great production and editing. That car is made very well. Awesome job 👍👍
Rad car and a humble guy. Great video
I’m a diesel tech building a Malibu. I’ve used a lot of heavy duty application for small details and organization. Some of my hot rod buddies are like wow they make that? Lol I’m like yep pulled it off a Mach or what ever lol.
Sounds like a very nice build and it pulls wheelies with smoking tires.💯👍👍👍👍🏁🏁🏁

I must say well done sir. I have a black 87 SS all original that I need to start working on. I have always been a huge fan of the Monte Carlo's and it appears to me that you've created a home made SS! Thank you for sharing your info. Now I have more insight as to what I want out of mine. God bless

BADASS!!!!!
awesome G body build. Would like to hear from the Owner as to how the dash was done, I need some ideas for my upcoming cage.
1980 monte carlo is a hard find.
My daughter has the same braided ponytails 😜 hahah
This is such a clean build, can't believe it makes 900 on a stock internals
@cfields8507

Gen 4/gen 4 internals make up 99% of the BIG power SBE LS stuff. The pistons are forged and i believe the rods are stronger, but cant remember how exactly.
If you don’t mine me asking what the rear end come out of and did you have to narrow it or notch the frame for wide tires
Mint
Nice
What video is the intro video from? looks like one hell of a car but I can't find it on their channel ( the one with the interior cam )
The jdm destroyer
3rd gen mc are my fav. Got 2 78s

Sickkkkk
Had a 78 traded in for a ‘84 SS , parents had a ‘70 Monte . Have the 84 and wish I had the other 2
