You must not have driven a Camry sport lately. 300+ hp dipping into the 12.3 area in the 1/4 mile right out the box in n/a form....I'm not shocked this thing runs like it do with boost.

@@markg1495 this chassis never had a v6 though. Don't get me wrong, the 4 with the supercharger was good but this has to be a flipping giggle fest to drive.

@@detaart Seems like you dont undestand where is the problem of high rpm (the other guy neither), is the mass of pistons and conrods, thats why small (and lightweight) piston and conrods in motorbikes can arrive to high rpm, but less torque anyway.

That in-car is all intake sound and then you get the exhaust note from the exterior shots. Beautiful sounds!

If the ecoboost Ford GT sounded like this, I would have accepted it having a V6. But it sounds like a Nissan GTR ... LITERALLY. This Toyota V6 sounds like a baby V12 !!!! Insane !!! How did they even get a 6cyl to sound like that ????

One should be the jaguar f-type.

Sound 11/10, but also notice the amazing soft setup with high camber this could run on seriously bumped tracks like butter.

I will admit to being a big time v8 lover but this is one of the few 6's I like. I love a barky 6 .

I personally am a v8 guy but still love any kind of high performance engine. 3,4,5,6 cylinders. 10s,12s& 16cylenders & rotories. Love em all.

I'm pretty committed to leaving my 2010 Evora NA, which means a good NA build. My other car is an E46 M3, and a high revving NA with ITBs is near and dear to my heat.

Omg yes, the front right wheel. I think it's due to a combination of lateral G force and acceleration tho.

The fact it's not a racecar shows that there is no anti roll bars to limit weight transfer, so when the power comes down to rear wheels, the weight goes full on the rear axle and the car is probably very light in front since the engine is mid/rear so the car lifts and loses contact

The accelerations looks so violent. 😮

What a machine.

The Lancia Stratos rally cars make the best V6 sound in my opinion, this Exige sounds very similar. The exhaust system is a work of art too.

This one just barks like those older v12s with some whine from either s/c or sequential tranny. I've only heard a 155 v6 in youtube tho and they just gloriously howl and almost screams

If only the Toyota Camry sounded this amazing.

@@bigmemer4398 They'll have more power from the mgu-k and hopefully the cars will be smaller and lighter, so i don't if they'll actually be slower. Probably not by much anyway

I love this whole setup. Sounds amazing and i love the throttle blips upon downshifting. I can't really tell if the driver is doing that or the ECU is? @2:18 i hear it blip but his foot doesn't seem to be on the throttle...

The Exige and Elise are being retired this year so we won't see one of those in any GT class unfortunately, but maybe their next car, whatever replaces them, will have GT racing in mind. Personally I see them as being more suited to GT4 than GT3, kind of like the KTM X-Bow.

You know Group 5? Ford Capri Zakspeed had 650hp and weighs 870kg, that's the beginning of the 80's. Who knows what could be possible today? I say group 5 because it's somehow quite close to original 🙂
