Okay but this has such a deep meaning to it. The black dots are unhappy or empty, unmotivated and overall just sad/alone, trying to fit in. The orange dot was happy and cheerful. When the orange dot found the black dot, the orange one made him joyful and showed him the amazing ways of just simply being yourself. Then when the other black dots showed up, the two happy dots decided to show the rest of them their true selves. And the lesson is to be yourself and be happy because life is short and you should live it to it’s fullest the way you feel your best.

I never, ever could ever think in my life, I'd get emotional over just dots. This is a spectacular piece of art. Thank you
I got full body goosebumps from watching the finished piece. You did an amazing job capturing the weight of a cascading domino effect of kindness. It shows that you must have amazing family and friends that love you, and you show that in this, anyone can make a simple gesture of kindness and it can grow and grow. Im a grade twelve student from Winnipeg, in Canada, and seeing this shows the sense of community that my city is sorely missing. I want to thank you for all that you have shown the Andymation community about kindness, and hope that we all (The Viewers), will show this kindness to anyone and everyone possible. This was really heavy, and pulled at the heartstrings for me because I never see this where I am from. Thanks a Lot man, and keep up the good work.

I've watched the end with the flip book at least 20 times in the past 3y and every time I feel like crying because you will truly never know how much someone appreciates your kindness
Kindness is happiness for people who are down.
This is kinda sad.... *Spoilers ahead* The 2 people who don't get the story: there is one black dot witch is sad Then a colored dot came over and tried to Joy the other The black dot refuses for a while until it did play with the colored dot then the black dot bacame colored too After color #1 & #2 played for a while when they saw a group of sad dots they went over to give them what they deserve. The two colored dots tried playing with them then then 1 dot joined in then another then another until all the sad dots started playing with each other and... The end

I’d like to say thank you for that dot story. Just 1 hour ago I found out someone I loved had died. Some people may say it’s sick to watch KZread after hearing bad news but I went here for comfort. I didn’t feel like talking to someone over the phone so I clicked this video. I’ve always loved animation. I want to be an animator when I grow up. This story that you made with these dots actually made me cry. Seeing how someone can really change the way your feeling, and I loved how you could tell such an amazing story with only dots, and even though your probably not gonna see this comment... I loved what you’ve done. You put a smile on my face. Thank you for that.

I understand that completely. Last summer, my aunt died. I lived her and even though she wasn't the BEST person because, we are all human, it broke my heart to see my younger cousins (7 and 10). I was their older sister to them at that point. It pained me to know that their beloved mom had passed away. They held plushies that they got from her. Now that the Coronavirus is spreading (they are in Japan) it's a lot harder.

2 things: -I had no clue how much effort went into making a flip book, even one that only has a couple of dots per page -I had no clue how much of a story could be told through such a simple medium

It's a very fleeting joy. In my opinion its almost not worth the time. Something like music you can listen to for years, a lifetime. Most people wont ever watch this a second or 3rd time. I'm an animator by profession so I understand this first hand

The story made me wanna cry, even if its dots, the story is very well made and its very emotional.
This is so inspiring man. It inspires me to become a better individual, for the sake of myself, loved ones, and a better society.

There are plenty of movies with great character development. This, while making and enjoyable watch, was still basic. I get the feeling you just wanted to take a random shot at the entertainment industry.

Man, you are a true artist. You have just told a story only using colored dots. A story of incentive, of empathy and friendship. Besides your skills at drawing, you have a great heart as well, that's amazing. Keep it up, God bless you man.

This black dot was really like: “Go away I don’t exactly like you.” *Automatically turns into color blue* Yay!
@meri1784
4 жыл бұрын
it actually said that the black dot liked the yellow one but it was scared that its gonna hurt the yellow dot so the black one tried to distance itself but it didn't work so the black one dicide to not distance itself from the yellow one and the yellow one changed it life so the black one became blue, and both together the yellow and the blue dot made others happy so they can find their true colours. sorry if you couldn't understand it very well I tried to explain it as much as I could.
