I am 42 and I could literally overdose on nostalgia. The 90's was the last decade where there was still an innocence to life. They had the best movies, tv, and music. I sometimes sit and just close my eyes and go back to this time on my mind...just immersing myself in all the memories. I cry a lot just yearning for those days that I can never get back. The world is such a 💩show today and I just wish I could be a kid again. Just wanting to relive all those precious times 😢. I thank God for KZread...one of the only online platforms I really look at. We'll have regular commercials back.. one day. Currently it just shows some kid dying from cancer than says "McDonald's" at the end. Sht makes no sense. Chuck-E-Cheese mascot serving Pizza in an arcade makes sense, You know what it is. Literally saw a commercial for clothes that just showed clips of a dog running on a trail. Like, what? That's not a clothes commercial it's a video of a dog.
You know that you're a consumer at heart when you watch old ads for entertainment, and then skip YT ads to watch more of the ads of stuff you can't buy anymore.
Its ironic how back in the day everyone hated to sit through commercials, and now here we are on youtube watching old commercials...

As a '90s kid, it was a great era to grow up in. Growing up in the '90s, we had it all: toys, music, TV shows, movies, and technology was just getting started, so we had to go outside and play, read books, and engage in sports. We never got bored, unlike kids today who, if they get tired of being on their iPads, computers, or iPhones, scream, 'I'm bored!' yet they won't go outside to play, watch TV, movies, play with toys, or read a book. Technology has reshaped childhood for the worse.
