90 MINUTES AVIATION - East European Planes only - AN74, TU154, IL62, AN22 ... (4K)

90 Minutes Aviation, today only with east european planes. I enjoy the most filming unique and rare planes. The An74 with the red nose is the perfect example for that. The aircrafts` s nickname is "mickey mouse plane" and there are not many of these An74 planes left in the world. There are just two of them left in europe, one is flying for Motor Sich and the other one for Constanta Airlines. The engines are above the wings because the plane was designed to land on unpaved runways and the gravel from the ground couldn` t reach the eninges that easy.
Another amazing plane I featured in this video is the Tupolev TU154 which visited Cologne a few times in 2020 and 2021. Although I took pictures of lots of TU154 when I was younger I only managed to film two Tu154s in my planespottering "career". Besides the one from Cologne I saw a slovakian TU5 at Eindhoven once. Also note that the Tupolev opened its reversers before touching the ground which is quite characteristic for this aircraft type.
Just like the TU154 the Ilyushin IL62 also opens its reversers before touching the ground which looks quite amazing. I managed to film a IL62 Freighter of Rada Air a few times while it operated several cargo charter flights to airports in my area. Amazing looking plane and one of my favorite airplanes besides the IL76 and the Douglas Dc-8.

That's not unusual with soviet era planes. The TU-154 pilots also deployed the reversers before touchdown. Reason being that the engines were somewhat sluggish to react, so by the time the reversers really fully kicked in the plane was already on the ground.
When you see the AN-124, it still is a beautiful aircraft and the worlds largest now. It's big sister the AN-225 was a spectacular aircraft. So sad the world lost it. This videos are wonderful to see, my Thanks to the photographers. From Houston, Happy Thanksgiving to All.

None of us outhere believes it's lost for good. There's a wing and part of fuselage left over from the 80ies stored somewhere. I'll be surprised if they won't rebuild one after the war, purely for historic reasons. P.S. I've been in Houston airport for a layover. With our weather today, that's one of the places i miss!!

Русским. Вряд ли в создании этих самолетов принимали участие туркменские верблюдоводы или карякские оленеводы. Да, в КБ Антонова работали некоторые украинцы. Но их роль как обычно преувеличена. Сейчас на Украине остались только этнические укры. И где самолеты Антонова? Где узбекские ИЛы? Каждый народ вернулся на свой природный уровень. Русским больше не нужно никого тянуть за волосы в будущее. ))

0:00 Engines lacated on the top of wings. Exhaust gas flows on wing make fast flow to grow the force of lift, perhaps. This will shorten the distance for take off. Just I think so^^ from Japan

Not only that...this model can land and depart on every surface possible. It can land on gravel or in the desert and depart without a problem.Means it can be used everywhere.

The AN-74 is the Ukrainian verson of our prototype the YC-14 but that one never made it and it was meant to replace the C130 but The C130 is more reliable and more fuel effecent

На всю жизнь запомнил шум двигателей и вибрации в полете на АН-10 и АН-26 остальные самолеты были потише,однажды на борту МИ-2 оказался американский прибор для измерения шумов и вибраций на турбинах нефтепроводов и когда померяли в полете шум двигателей колебался 150-180 децибел,а вибрация составила 450 микрон при чем вибрация турбины на нефтепроводе допускается 50 микрон и почему все эти параметры только для служебного пользования???

All planes bar AN-140 were designed in the USSR, AN-140 is the only post-Soviet one, designed in Ukraine
Russians build amazing aircraft but really need to improve engine combustion efficiency.

тут нет russian planes... тут только soviet planes... Велик и могуч был Советский Союз ! И то, что выпускала Украина после 1991-го года было обусловлено только могучим пинком и могучим заделом от Советского Союза. Кстати, а что Украина выпустила после 1991-го года ?

Проблема в том, что практически все наши самолеты , что все еще летают - грузовые, они больше востребованы и уникальны каждый в своем роде. Мой кормилец Ан-12 можно встретить по всему миру,даже сейчас. Яки ,Тушки - пассажирские , для них легко найти более выгодную технику .
