9 Tomato Grow Mistakes To Avoid | I knock it and it will bloom | Hundreds are harvested

Today, let’s briefly summarize the nine wrong methods in the process of growing tomatoes. Find the problem as early as possible and correct it in time, so that you can get more and better tomato fruits.
One, I don’t know what type of tomatoes I grow.
There are two situations.
1. Is it a deterministic type or an infinite growth type?
Deterministic tomatoes are easier to manage; because this type of tomatoes grow to a certain height, and all the fruits ripen almost at the same time. Then the task is completed.
Infinite-growing tomatoes will continue to grow until it is cold. The time for tomatoes to stop growing depends on where and when you start to get cold.
Without knowing what type of tomatoes you are growing, there is no way to accurately take care of them, such as pruning and supporting.
2. Is it a hybrid or heirloom? I like the tomatoes I grow myself. If you want to keep the seeds, you need to figure out which type it is. Not all tomatoes can be planted by themselves. Heirlooms can be planted, and the fruits planted are basically the same as the previous generation. For hybrid varieties, if you leave the seeds and want to plant them next year, they will not necessarily produce the same fruits.
Second, plant the wrong position: Tomatoes are full-sun plants and need 6-8 hours of light per day. The more light, the better. If you plant tomatoes in places with insufficient sunlight, such as under big trees. Tomatoes will not get enough light, resulting in slow growth, the entire plant length is short and thin, and the fruit will not be big enough and sweet enough. Of course, there are special cases. The only type of tomato that can tolerate shade is cherry tomatoes. In summer, if there is a severe high temperature, tomatoes will roll up the leaves in order to protect themselves to avoid sunburn. At this time, I will think of ways to shade the tomatoes and help them survive the extreme weather.
Third, the kind is too shallow. There is a big difference between the method of growing tomatoes and other vegetables. If you plant tomatoes and other vegetables, they are equally shallow, which is not conducive to the growth of tomatoes. When transplanting, plant the tomatoes as deep as possible. The fluff on the stems of the tomatoes will grow a lot of roots when they see the soil, making the root system more developed. In this way, the tomato plants can be better supported to grow up and continue to blossom and bear fruit during the long harvest season. My tomato seedlings are so tall, after transplanting, they are only exposed so short, and the other parts are buried in the soil.
Fourth, the kind is too dense. The distance between two tomatoes needs to be at least 30-50 cm. If the tomatoes are planted too densely, the branches and leaves of the tomatoes will be crowded together. They will not be air-tight, which will easily breed pests and diseases. At the same time, the plants will not grow normally due to insufficient light.
Fifth, improper watering; improper watering of tomatoes can cause many problems. Just list a few of them.
1. Pour water directly on the branches and leaves of tomatoes. Watering like this will wet a lot of the leaves, so the tomato plants are placed in a more humid environment. Many pathogens like humid environments. In an overly humid environment, tomatoes are easy to be infected with germs; moreover, the rapid flow of water poured from above will cause some water splashes to splash on the leaves and fall on the leaves to get more wet. leaf. What's more serious is that these water splashes may bring pathogens in the soil to tomato leaves and infect pathogens in the soil. So, pour the water in the soil slowly. It is best to add some mulch to the surface of the soil under the tomatoes. In this way, when water hits the surface of the soil, it is not easy to splash, and the leaves are safer.
2. Irregular watering. Uneven watering during the flowering period makes it easy to fall flowers; during the fruit swelling period, tomatoes require even moisture. Sudden dryness and wetness can easily cause fruit cracking. It is because when it is too dry, the fruit of tomatoes is not easy to grow; when a lot of water is poured suddenly, the fruit expands too fast, causing fruit cracking. After the fruit splits, mold can easily grow in the cracks. Uneven watering can also cause umbilical rot. This is a symptom of calcium deficiency in tomatoes. Irregular watering leads to problems in the transport of calcium in the plant, and calcium deficiency. Uneven droughts and floods are not conducive to the healthy growth of tomatoes. The easiest watering method to keep water evenly is to use a drip irrigation system, which continuously drips tiny water droplets into the soil near the roots.

其实西红柿是最容易种的一种蔬菜水果，定时浇水施一点肥，只要把下面的叶子侧枝全部剪掉，就会有很多很好的收获，别的蔬菜会招虫子，西红柿的叶子有一种味道，绝没有蜗牛蚂蚁之类的打搅，几乎家家户户每年都会种些西红柿，因为它的成活率特别高。

@@air4710 要把叶子全部剪掉，打顶- 顶上的全部剪掉。开花不结果的花也要剪掉，最后就剩下光突突的西红柿。。。应该早剪，现在有些晚了

滴水浇灌通常也是隔1-2天，温度低的天气甚至3-4天，看气温，注意保持土壤湿润，不要担心表面的一点干枯，干一点只影响生长，死不掉，通常观察叶子状态就知道是否缺水了。

理論上買種子的時候都會附相關資訊，如果沒有就直接問賣方。假如還是不知道，就種種看吧。 停芯型 (確定型) 株高120-150的時候頂芽會停止生長，後面都長側芽，管理最簡單 非停芯型 (無限生長型) 就是頂芽會無限生長，這種一般要在荷蘭型的挑高溫室種，採用活動式的吊鉤導引，可以幫助番茄一直向上拉長，採收時可降下吊鉤，種植期可達7-8個月，當中有4個月以上的收穫期 一般田間流行半停芯型 (不知道大陸這種類型的稱呼，可能被歸類在無限生長型) 的品種，株高180-240，設施用網子種，露天用竹竿搭架子的都屬於這種。管理上通常斜著導引枝條生長，避免植株比人高而採不到果，後期植株高度將近極限的時候會讓底下的莖稍微盤著，以降低高度。這種類型的種植期大約6個月，當中有2個月左右的收穫期

@@user-bf8xb7ux6v 這不一定，光照只是影響開花與否的其中一個因子，溫度、肥料的使用和植株種植的時間也都會影響 (要精準的診斷我還需要這些資訊)。如果枝葉長的很茁壯且生長速度都正常，那麼光照應該還是夠的 (不太確定您說的陰涼處究竟是怎麼樣的光照程度，如果光照不足的程度並不嚴重，那頂多就是花少開些而已)，您可以看一下葉子之間的莖節是否存在過度延長的情況，如果節間的長度過長 (距離很遠才有一片葉子)，那應該真的是光照不足。要改善開花問題，最常用的做法是增加磷肥和鉀肥的比例，同時要降低氮肥，如果已經確保溫度和植株年齡都已符合開花的條件，那麼就從肥料下手試試看。以上建議您囉~

没肥……我把茶叶渣，咖啡渣，鸡蛋壳，香蕉皮放肥用……收获了很多西红柿…但我种的是樱桃西红柿……重要的是你要去除侧枝…一定要狠心

@@shwujim168JJ 不好意思回复迟了…具体情况每个人有所不同，我种的也是樱桃小番茄，前期我狠心去侧枝，只留顶上4分支，往下的都去掉，把营养供给扎根养杆和顶端的分支……而分枝和主杆中间的侧芽我也会去掉…后续开花了我选择人工授粉，虽然风吹或者蜜蜂能帮忙授粉，但个人觉得人工授粉效果会更好…希望对你有用❤️

@@shwujim168JJ 阳光也很重要喔，30度以下的天气随便晒，光合作用对发根有很大帮助……30度以上照散光就可以，不要烈日曝晒

墨瀾，有些关种蕃茄很苦脑的问题，很希望得到你指点，大概八月初移植了六棵蕃茄，移植前坑内下了雞糞、骨粉之类(一直以来都是这样种植)，经过一个多月，苗长的很健康、肥莊，有的甚至己有花蕊，但好景不長，出现了怪现象！今天看还好好的，第二天就姑萎死芒，陸陸續续的，都出现这情况，百思不得其解！什么问题啊？鬼 剃頭嗎？

蕃茄是狂长和结果的时候补肥，早出花蕊也是因为太肥了。
我的西紅柿長的很茂盛，但是常發現在莖部的某一段突然轉成褐色且乾枯，於是整株逐漸枯萎死亡，不知是什麼病毒引起的？

广东人叫番茄就一种叫法，就叫番茄，而西红柿是中秋节前后出的一种水果才叫西红柿，也叫大红柿，所以我在看这个视频的时候，脑子也转不过弯，看来看去，不就是番茄🍅，怎么叫西红柿呢？估计广州人和外省人叫法不同。

番 = 西, 意思接受外国传入的，茄 是因为植物分类也是属于 管状花目、茄科。
说了半天也没说清楚给西红柿开花结果时应该施什么肥！

Tomato 是番茄，不是什麼＂西紅柿＂(西紅柿三個中文字顧名思義就是：西洋的紅杮子，怎麼會是番茄 ？這說不通的 )。所以，应该叫＂番茄＂才对！只有在中國大陸的部分地區的部分人把 tomato(番茄) 叫成 "西紅柿"。香港、 台灣、 及海外華人.........，全是叫 "番茄"。 大家千萬不要沒頭沒腦的跟著他們亂叫一通。tomato 就是 番茄 ，不是什麼 "西紅柿 " !

@@yuguonie2593 ＂西紅柿＂的叫法除了中國大陸的部分地区之外，沒有人會把番茄叫成＂西紅柿＂的。在台灣，＂西紅柿＂就是柿子的意思。所以香港、台灣、海外華人都不會把 tomato (番茄)叫成＂西紅柿＂。
