# 9 is a profound, deep truth that cannot be escaped. Your ending wrap up shows a lot of wisdom gained at a young age, good for you!. I'm giving Etsy a shot at 70 years old. Putting past skills to use again can be fun financially, but , as you said, it's more boring than watching paint dry. Your friends will be even more bored than you once they understand how you spend your day.

Don't tell them! let it be our secret (It can be quite boring to listen/hear because it is so involved and taxing) though I'll listen; by the way I am 17 min into my 73rd Birthday. I find all this so time consuming and I must pay attention to my wife; but it can like the stock market in the long run prove both beneficial and the exercise those grey cells...far better than any coloring book..good luck on the trail. Wow this is the second video I watched on this channel and I have to say this is absolutely spectacular quality, both in content and production. Thanks a lot man!
I watched your video to check myself as I started a apparel brand a year ago. My journey hasn't been exactly the same (I started with a manufacturer and build an e-commerce website myself) but all your points are 100% true for your journey and similar ones. Keep up the great content Alek!

TY Alek for not being another guru, but providing actual value. I immediately subscribed + liked @ Tip#6... not recommending a credit card unless you clearly understand debt impacts. But mainly I hope the people in the back heard who want passive income w/instant gratification from unreliable sources on KZread. It takes time, hard work, practice, and dedication.

I love your channel and videos. Authentic and realistic. @@danielsvids7325 Quick update: I created my own Python scripts back then to use Printify API and upload a lot of designs at once. But even with that I still had a lot of manual work to do. I ended up loading only about 350 designs to start and started making sales the 1st month. I started using Etsy Ads to get enough sales to try and get the star seller badge asap. Up till this point most months were in the red due to ads. But the holiday season I ended up selling quite a bit, at roughly 50% margin. I only did t-shirts, nothing else. I've since trimmed the listings down to 75 or so. Once I have more time I'm hoping to test out Alek's scripts to see if they are any better than what I created but this unfortunately has taken a back seat.
"Process will work, if you do" Wise words
Hi Alek! I must commend you and say that you definitely INSPIRED me to start with print on demand "challenge." Not so much because it might become lucrative opportunity (regardless what anybody says), more as a way of being disciplined and focused for one extra hour in a day without expecting any results. People don't understand that building momentum is really everything and that consistency (doing something 1 h every day indefinitely) will ALWAYS beat intensity of work. In addition to that, how would you compare Printify to Vistaprint as a platforms? I know that you are Printify "type of a guy" but do you have anything to say about selling on Vistaprint as well? Thanks!
