@@Purplanne well..yeah..he is still flirting and I went to his town to meet some friends..I told him about it in a message on social media and we sort of discussed about his town..I hoped he would ask me out but he said he was a little bit sick bc of the hangover and the cold weather. I could not stay more than 1 day and so I told him I was gonna leave . In his last message he asked me if I was leaving that night..I told him that I wasn't sure bc I couldn't find a ticket.. He hasn't yet seen that message,I don't know why..He is too shy and sometimes it takes hours for him to see messages..I think he wanted to meet me but there was no time. Anyway,I left his town really heartbroken. All that happened a day ago.. I hope he isn't mad at me or anything. I still miss him.

Me just wondering what "my" guy is actually feeling. He does a lot of these, but apparently not enough XD

I don't know what to believe, He's sending mixed signals and I just... *Sighs* update: It's sad to say that the things are the same, but I really want to think that he wants to know who I am. We are friends, but no that close. And I remembered once, he said, if he wants a relationship, he has to know the girl well. We talk for hours through text, even in person. My friends say: that you don't talk for HOURS with someone that you are not interested. Recently we had a conversation about life, the meaning of happiness, and since I know him, He always wanted to know my opinion, and this was also the case, I respond sincerely, and he said: I like the way you think. That was the first time he said something like that to me. I also said: that this kind of conversations, we can't have it with anyone, and he agreed. I truly think that I gave him some hints (mostly in text), Once we were playing UNO cards with our friends, (because we live in the same neighborhood so I'm constantly meeting him up), And I was looking at his cards, and he said: stop doing it. I respond: I wasn't (hehe), and he said: so, what were you looking then? and I answered: your eyes. He was surprised, and didn't say anything back. Yesterday I saw him. The night before, he texted me, but I didn't answered. (I don't want to be there “all the time” and replied inmediately when he texts, even when he was on a trip, and didn't text me, I saw him online), anyway... He call me up by a nickname he gave me, and say like: today we are going to see eachother, (because our friends planned a voleyball game). I was just there, and I saw him arrived but i was already playing. I took the time between the game to say Hi. after that, I was really focus on the game, and having fun, I noticed he was talking to one of our friend's sister, and I think he was giving her some dating advice according to what I heard. my team lost, and also his team. He said: andrea, we are going to play on the same team together, and I was like cool!, and he left with this girl to get some water... after the game we lost again hahaha, and we sat together on the bench, and I perceived how his legs were spreading to touch mine, (this is not he first time he does that) but I was truly happy he did that. when the game finished, he say goodbye and hugged me, and even kissed my cheeck. In despite of everything, all my friends are saying like; is time. He has to take THE step. if he doesn't, then he doesn't like you, because you know what you are feeling, your hints and everything... it's enough for now, he has to take another step...

@@Andrea-wl8xz If you are really that interested and into him and you've sent him all these pro-active choosing signals and he's still cold and indifferent towards You... and.... if you're still willing to give it one last college try, I would suggest the following: You ask him out. (nothing big or fancy, just for coffee or pizza or something)... or... ask him over to your family's place for lunch or dinner. (in other words, a place that is the most comfortable for you) Or... simply cut to the chase and tell him directly that You are interested and what to see him (in those EXACT words). This should make it more than clear to him what You are all about. If he is STILL less than receptive at that point... ...I would suggest that you cut your losses and do not waste any more of your time. You have left all kinds of doors open for him and either: --he's really shy.. --he's really lacking confidence --he's extremely indecisive... --not getting the hint / clue... --not interested... --or, maybe he's "in the closet". I was out sick today and actually found out he wanted to talk to me once I came back and felt better. I keep trying to ask all of my friends (who are his friends) if he's mad at me and all of these other questions, and they all replied with "He's not mad, just wait and see". So I've got my hopes up on that right now 🥲, I'll edit this comment about what type of conversation it was when it happens! Update: He said he had a slight crush on me as a late April Fools joke, most of my friends think he really is interested in me though 🤷

Yep he has displayed a couple of these signs we were on a 3 way call with other friend from South Africa he was talking to her some of the time but nearly could look me in the eyes but I do remember he did look pale lol what does this mean ?? we have had a couple serious talks about dating but he said in the near future tho but we are in a emotional commitment. Okay I guess we're sharing stories. Well me and him were somewhat close friends about three years ago. Since then he has walked up to me to ask about random things. Though not often. Well I had asked my cousin to ask his friend if he liked anyone. He replied with no, there was a pause and he said "WAIT, is this about *my name*"!? Since then I catch his friends or him looking at me. If I'm looking at him then his friends will smile and tell him smth. He will then look at me we make eye contact and I look away occasionally he'll keep staring. I really don't know anymore I mean he isnt the type to tell his friends but I'm certain all of them know now. What should I do, we have a dance coming up on my birthday in a few weeks?!

So...im in a bit of a pickle. I like this guy, and we talk a lot, and kinda "flirt" i guess, but that just like who we are and how we act with everyone. All of his friends are telling me that he likes me, but a few weeks ago i had one of my friends investigate, and the guy i like said that he didnt know for sure if he liked anyone and he seemed kinda genuine, also he never told any of his friends that he had a crush on me, they just guessed it. Also, he is always stealing my stuff, and sitting next to me in class, and challenging me to sports 1 on 1, and doing like little things to annoy me. So I met this guy and I had a crush on him after a while I confessed my feelings to him he said he feels the same I gave him my phone number but ge never called me. It's been more than a week.

I know this guy for 5 months and we talk alot, he is starting at me all the time even when we are not alone, reacting to my ig stories, laughing at my not funny jokes, and I was convinced that he liked me. But there was one problem, he was not asking me out. So I tryed to ask him out he interrupted my sentence and asked me out first before I could finish. So I waited, and he was not texting me about the meeting, so I texted him, and he was off for whole day, after he texted me back that he was sick and was sleeping. He said that we should meet next day and we'll think about it. I tried to set a date but he was not saying the specific date that he would go out and we left it at that. So I don't want to come up clingy and ask him again, but what should I do?

Ask him once and let him set the date and time. If that day comes along and he's not responding back to you, then he's probably playing with you because a gentleman wouldn't do that.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more emotional, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Most women like to do affectionate things with their female friends like cuddling with them and holding their hands and be touchy-feely towards each other, while most men would never do affectionate things with their male friends (especially not cuddling with them or holding their hands or be touchy-feely towards each other). Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do. Females have a larger frontal cortex than males, making them a lot more emotional than males are. Also, males and females produce hormones that are very different from each other that affect their brains and their way of thinking very differently from each other. Male bodies usually produce high levels of testosterone and female bodies usually produce high levels of estrogen. So males and females are both mentally and physically different from each other, and that would probably make it harder for them to bond with each other. Women have oxytocin levels that are 8 times higher than in men. For women, oxytocin creates a strong emotional bond. It is released 3 times in a woman’s life at a very intense level.

The friendship of males and females can hardly be as good as a female to a female relationship from a woman’s point of view. How can a man and woman have a special strong type of bond with each other if women have a special strong type of bond with each other while men don’t have one with each other?
