I was about to say this.

I think the cake in riddle #5 shouldn't be cut in the middle horizontally because a cake should be eaten fully in one slice from the bottom to the top. Generally cake's component at the bottom is different to its top and people want to eat them fully intact. So, the solution is cutting the cake only vertically by stacking them up. Cut 1: cut in the middle, you get 2 slices, then stack the other half on top of the other, Cut 2: cut again in the middle, you get 4 slices, then stack all of them 4 into 1 stack, Cut 3: cut in the middle again, then you get 8 slices.

I decorate cakes and I agree thr lateral slice would not work. but stacking would ruin the frosting. Line the four slices up end to end >>>> last cut is from one end to the other down the middle.

A better solution to the train riddle would be that the blind man had now fulfilled his dream and so he no longer had a reason to live for. He had completed the bucket list. Still odd but better than the train with no interior lights solution 😂

Riddle #6 is hilarious, the timing of the music with the reveal of the Man jumping off is perfect.

I solved the first water/milk riddle in a different way: Pour the water into the bowl, then place the water bottle in the bowl and pour the milk into the water bottle that is in the bowl. This way you poured both into the bowl but they are still distinct. It is faster, more c concise and more correct than the included solution because with freezing, as you pour the milk over the frozen water, bits of the ice melts and it is no longer distinct.

If I were sitting on a train, with my eyes closed, I am 100% confident I would know the train had entered a tunnel.

For the first one, you could've poured the water into the bowl, then poured the milk into the water bottle, then put the bowl of water into the milk bottle, then pour the water into the bowl, so you emptied both substances into the powl, and could seperate them and tell them apart.

7:50 Trains have lights inside them. Even in the video you can see that the train has its lights on.

Until the cow grows for you to milk it you'd be dead by then due to lack of liquids.

I know this video is 4 years old but whatever. In the cake riddle I've found a different solution. Cut the cake in half, stack the two halves on top of each other, cut them in half again, now we have 4 slices which we stack up and cut in half again and we have 8 slices. Only a maniac would cut cakes laterally.

For the final question, i test with my 2 pencils and my ruler. I found out that both of them will fall into the abyss

Riddle 7 can also be grass because you can plant it in your garden, the cow can eat the grass. After that you can get milk from the cow and after that you can eat the cow

There is a problem with the answer to Riddle 6: passenger train carriages are generally fairly brightly lit, meaning that a) The man would have noticed the lights in the carriage when he took his bandages off. b) He would have seen his reflection in the carriage window. In addition, seats in train carriages generally do not face the windows: they either face forwards or backwards, or towards the aisle on the Tube. Also, surely the man would not have been discharged from hospital until he had fully recovered -- or, in other words, until he had been ready to remove the bandages. It was irresponsible of the hospital to trust him to make his own way home before he had recuperated.

Another problem would be that trains are supposed to be very secure places, so there’s also a question of HOW the man was able to jump off the train, unless if one would suppose that he managed to get on top of the train.

The watermelon,phone directory and first one was easy .I knew you had to freeze something- it's the only way!

I had a different answer to the Cake and the Cow riddle. The cake I thought of cutting it in half and then those halfs in half as in the video, but I would have stacked the slices on top of each other and sliced through all of them to get 8 piece. The cow one I though of buying grain. The Grain would feed the cow, you can drink milk from the cow, you can plant the cow's manure and you can eat the cow.

More like tricks than riddles.

For the first question I thought I had to physically do it. Went to the shop, came back and tried it. I was disappointed when I saw the answer 😅

Bringing items or objects from the outside to a riddle is kind of low, or cheating. Riddles and puzzles are meant to be solved using the resources provided to you. Sure one could argue it's "thinking outside the box" , but then that leaves the door open that nearly ANY answer that is creative and has a certain truth to it could be correct. I stopped after the second one cause my reasoning after the answer was given was "well in that case the record should be however long the magician stayed under a cloud cause that, based on the first riddle, is a valid response, he's still technically underwater (cause in the first one water was ice, with that logic clouds are water and the magician was under the clouds at some point probably.) Every riddle must have only one possible answer without the capacity for interpretation or "thinking outside the box" because riddles and puzzles are logical deductions, not imagination.

I knew riddle 2 easily 😅

In the blind man’s case, he could have opened the bandages, without realizing that he was facing bright sun and was blinded by it. For a brief second he could see and then lost it all. Got frustrated at his own stupidity and decided to end his life.

Exactly. How could the man have been able to jump inside a tunnel? He would have had to wait until A. he could see where he was going and B. it was possible for him to jump out.

OldTiger I don't see why you think that the riddles in the videos are "jokes". Sure. Suicide and depression are very seriuos subjects, But so are thousands of subjects. If we all have to be alert with anything that we say (no matter the context) we would be mindcracking ourselves, because that will be inpossible. There is always something that someone else cares more about than you do. And with humor.. eveyone has different taste, perpectives and borders for when something crosses the line. Something that we need to accept from each other.

a blind person being blind would also be able to adjust his eyes to darkness faster than someone that had sight their whole life

first riddle you are supposed to keep them separated, yet the frozen water would slowly melt immediately after pouring milk onto it.

That is possible since milk is organic meaning it have complex matter like carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. Since lipids are hydrophobic, they naturally separate from water. Water isn't organic as its simple. It can even be man-made. Just take two tanks of hydrogen and one tank of oxygen and open them. Make sure the hydrogen tanks are facing the oxygen tank. And then water droplets form.

GumiBear no because milk wil not sparate from the water due to milk already being 90% water and the other 10% nutrients which the body needs so therefor the milk would not sink and it would just sit on top

1. Most trains have had passenger car lights, as having pitch blackness is a safety hazard. 2. Any train going through a TUNNEL, would at least have lights at the front of train, meaning there should be some ambient light even in a tunnel and even with no passenger car lights. 3. Human eyes pick up even faint light to discern shapes, motion, and other info in darkness. He saw no shapes or anything? 4. How did he determine where and how to jump off the train while it was in motion while also still believing he could not see? If it was truly pitch black, think about how long that would take to do, to feel around, find the doors, and pry the doors open. How long was this tunnel?

#6 does not make sense. Even in a "dark tunnel" there'd still be light. Tunnel interior lighting, train interior lighting. Aside from that tunnels need to be - long - to totally block out all light. #9 - man number 1 walks forward, problem solved. And you might want to make man #1 the Joker - he'd be the only homicidal maniac crazy enough to put himself in that position anyway. Trick questions, not riddles. Requires lateral thinking, not high intelligence. Except for 6 I got them all.

Okay so here's my opinion. Since he said that if dude no.2 falls, the wood will break and dude no.1 will fall.. Leading me to think if dude no.2 shoots dude no.1, dude no.2 will fall. Making dude no.1 fall off the cliff. We don't know who will die first because; we don't know whether the guy with the revolver is drunk/a professional shooter, we don't know whether the guy standing away from the cliff is wearing a bullet proof vest, and most importantly we don't know whether the revolver was even loaded. This leads to the last question being merely unsolvable.

Riddle number 1: As it does not mention that water and milk should both be in the bowl at the same time you can do below without freezing it. 1- Pour water into bowl empty the water bottle. 2- Pour the milk into water bottle. 3- Pour the water into milk bottle empty the bowl. 4- Pour the milk into bowl. All conditions satisfied.

I like how the parameters...well, point being there are no parameters. Didn't realise for the first task i had a freezer at my disposal.

The cake... I work in a restaurant and the Pastry Chef would be OUTRAGED at the idea of cutting a cake in half HORIZONTALLY... In fact, i have NEVER seen her make a cake that COULD be cut horizontally WITHOUT RUINING the 'assembly structure' or 'artistic concept' of the cake... The real answer to #1: Dump the water into the bowl. Pour the water onto the ground. Dump the milk into the bowl. Were both dumped into the bowl? Yes. Can you differentiate between the water and the milk? Yes the water is on the ground. The milk is in the bowl. Am I using dividers to keep the water and milk apart? No. Never said we had to keep the liquids in the bowl. I win Bright Side. I win.

I was just posting to say that their "solution" is not a sign of brilliance but ignorance. A more logical explanation would be that he saw his reflection for the first time in 20+ years and didn't like what he saw.
