2:45 Splash Transition

To create the splash transition, create a first Shot where water is splashed onto the X4. Do the same in a second shot but a different location. Set the cut exactly where the water hits the lens.

Here the 360-video footage of the X4 is reframed, so that almost the entire surrounding is packed into the frame. To do this, open your 360-recording in Insta360 Studio and select the "Tiny Planet" option. To get an ultra wide angle shot, change the "tilt angle" to 0. As the tilt axis is now exactly horizontal, the image looks more natural than the tiny planet option and you still have almost the entire landscape in one image.

At the beginning, guide the Insta360 X4 just above the ground and then pull up. Stay up for a short time and then move it down again. You perform a kind of a wave movement. Do this in different environments. Start with the first clip and set a cut when the perspective is directed to the ground. The second clip starts there. And this is the final “ground Pull” transition!
12:31 Catch Transition
This trick is very easy. Simply put your Insta360 X4 in your mouth and pick up an object. Then throw it into the air and catch it again. Do exactly the same in different locations. In Insta360 Studio, reframe the shot so that the object is always in the centre of the picture.
Set a cut exactly where you catch the object. Then continue with the next Clip.
13:41 Me-Mode SloMo Run
The “Me-Mode” on the Insta360 X4 has also received a huge improvement. Now you can record 4K 60fps or 2.7K recordings with up to 120fps. The 120fps are especially interesting for super slow motion shots. Simply turn on "Me Mode" on your X4, extend the selfie stick and start running.

@@bm_wuratli6883 Yes, but it's not practical since you'd have to mount it on the roof of your vehicle to get the best 360 degree view. For a short strip with cool weather, it should work fine. For longer trip with hot weather, it might overheat depending on the model and settings.

As someone who sells commercial grade security video surveillance for Universities....you don't need it. 4k is a luxury for most, where it is important is for license plate recognition and facial recognition at the government level.

i was dissappointed to find out that x4 does not live stream - I bought ot assuming it did as the x3
If scuba diving is your thing don’t buy the X4. The X4 has a dive case preset which has 8K video. Today I wanted to try my new dive case during a snorkel. I was surprised that it stopped because of ‘over heating’. Or so it notified. Very frustrating for sure. I suspect this overheating problem will be ironed out in the X5.

5.7k has 16,5 million pixels. 8k has 33,1 million pixels. It's 80% more. Math is done with the pixel numbers, not with 5.7 and 8.
Am I the only one who don't like insta 360 footage because of it’s over sharp footages? I think it doesn’t look cinematic at all.
Its not the highest resolution ever. The Qoocam 8K had 8k already in 2020.
