One thing I dislike about fantasy analysts is when they say, MHJ is target competition for McBride and that's bad. Yes he's target competition, but he will also help open things up for McBride to have big plays and score those TDs he was missing.

My favorite thing about fantasy is the talk about the other players on the team when a player joins / leaves Weapon joins a team: "That just means he opens up space for everyone else" Weapon leaves the team: "without this target hog, he's gonna get so many more targets!" Generally I feel like only #2 happens lol

Are you by chance a Cardinals fan? Honestly…I feel like while definitely the WR 1/ 2 in draft and a top dynasty asset (I’m a Nabber guy over Marv) MHJ is 100% being over drafted. He is being drafted at close to his ceiling scenario for a guy that hasn’t played in the NFL before and a guy who is just starting to build that chemistry with his QB which is so so so important. Expecting him to reach that in his rookie year is placing a lot on him and the pick you are using on him in best ball. It’s why I tend to take the guys around him. Would I be shocked if he puts up 880-1000 yards…no, but that is a sizable ask.

What was the Texans offense projected to do last season? A lot of this seems based in being sure of the current offensive projections for teams.

I think you can only compare Njoku to McBride athletically .... but not in fantasy. The difference is the Quarterback play. Murray vs Watson. Which QB do you believe will have a stellar season out of these two? Njoku has too many appearances on the injury report for me. One more thing. Which offense are you investing in? Cleveland or Arizona? That's my opinion. Love your insight guys 🙏

If such a thing exists for RBs, KWIII is the prime example of "better in best ball". He seemed very high variance in scoring relative to other RBs.

I don't get the Drake London hype. He struggles to separate vs single coverage, isn't fast, isn't necessarily a god at contested balls. He has a RB in the backfield with godtier potential, and a QB who throws to whoever is open, not to whoever is covered but might catch it anyway... Drake London is being WAY overdrafted.

I was the most active waiver manager in my league. I had Njoku, Leporta, Tank Dell, Z. white, Trey McBride, and Rashee Rice. Most of these guys are not as good or better than they are being drafted. Leporta, McBride, Rice (pre-felony) much later. Tank Dell is fine and Z. White is the only appropriately current steal from that list. I think people are extremely optimistic. People got to be just trying to build hype because there’s not as many WR worth high picks this year and everyone obsesses over receivers.

So fade these guys, so you can zig when others are zagging? I felt like I saw Ridley/Dotson on a video like this last year 😅

Big difference between Mclaurin (4 years 1k+ yards) with subpar OC's and 11 qbs and Dotson who's never broken out yet.

@UnderdogFantasy Hayden said he thinks he should go a little later and that Harrison could be negative. Never once mentored 3rd year progression for a great prospect which is super obvious

M.Wilson missed a bunch of games during McBride's run, too. I think there's a real chance Wilson is the actual #2 target earner in the offense behind Marvin, and people are drafting McBride like that's not a possibility. He looked very good as a rookie per-game and mostly played with Dobbs. There has to be some kind of significant fantasy falloff for McBride if he's falling from the #1 target earner to the #3 in the offense, which, by the way, is completely normal for TEs to be. Very few even really good TEs are more than the #2/3 option.

@@joeyruemenapp3509 Michael Wilson is a dog. Go watch his season highlights. Some of the worst games of McBride's season after he took over for Ertz, came when Wilson was on the field. Wilson only had a handful of games with Kyler. This isn't not going to be a thing, it's going to be a thing. I'm totally cool with McBride. I just think people need to be prepared for inconsistency because they're no longer drafting the #1, or potentially even the #2 target. He thrived on volume last year.

Would rather take the discount on Achane in the 3rd round rather than reach for Gibbs late first, early 2nd. Pretty much the same back and Achane might be better...more efficient runner and better pass catcher!

McBride?harrision remind me of LaPorta/Jones only flipped in who was the rookie. McBride was on pace for 140 targets with Murray. Wilson was a distant afterthought. It's pretty clear there is going to be a 1a and 1b in AZ only question is who is the 1a.

Daniel Jones doesn’t throw deep often enough to luck into a semi decent year again. Bad OL, bad RB, still only 1 good WR. The giants will play Lock at least 6 games this year

I don't understand why you think it matters if Marvin Harrison Junior is good. If he's good, then that means there will be less attention on Trey McBride, and he will be open more often sort of like all of those years on the Chiefs with Travis Kelce because defense had to worry about Tyreek Hill. As we learned last year, Kelce got bottled up when, he was their only good option. If Harrison is bad, then that just means McBride will be a target hog like last year. Really didn't make sense to me and he didn't elaborate on why he doesn't think Trey McBride will do well regardless of Marvin Harrison Junior being good or not.

Jameson Williams is the wr2 now …😅 Zay flowers is reasonable to say he climbs a little in his 2nd year .. Pitts has cousins so should be top 5 TE . Same thing for JSN. Lockett another year older JSN another year wiser 😂 😅 Same as flowers .

Nobody would be surprised if McBride had 900 yards and Njoku had 600 yards on the season. Nobody. The Underdog commentators don't seem to account for dumb-money pouring into the player-props based solely on fandom of the pro player or even the college they went to once upon a time. Browns and Canes fans inflate Njoku. Cardinals and Colorado State fans may not include a single human gambling fantasy in June. McBride is much more valuable a fantasy asset, especially without Joe Flacco walking out the tunnel.

Fantasy community really disconnected from the WAS team still lol, at least you admit you're just now getting exposed to WAS. Luke McCaffrey was a qb not a rb so ya'll still really don't know what you're talking about, though.
