NFL legends like Tom Brady, Jerry Rice, Jim Brown and Peyton Manning had so many iconic moments that it’s easy to forget about any of their career miscues or brutal defeats.
But many past NFL stars blew their opportunities to be remembered for their greatness. Whether it was a costly blunder or a dirty play on the field, these nine NFL players tarnished their legacies with one horrible play.
Let’s get right into it...

Mike Vanderjagt should be on this list. He was the NFL's all time leader in field goal percentage before he missed a last-second 46-yard field goal in the 2005 playoffs that could have won the game for the Colts. After that, he was released from the team, played one season in Dallas where he made a career low 72% of his field goals, and then was out of the league for good.
I was surprised Brandon Bostick didn’t make this list. As a Packers fan, that botched onside kick in the 2015 NFC Championship Game still brings me pain 😫
I don’t mean no harm but when He smacced him with that helmet that was funny AF 😂 his facial was priceless
Y’all work so hard
Myles getting revenge for all of the cheap shots Harrison did, is good in any browns fandom book. Dude helps with a superbowl, he could do it three more times and still be hailed a hero
Myles is still young and still a great player in the field. This will be a funny thing to look back at
Imma huge Texas a&m fan so Myles Garett is one of my favorite nfl players and as soon as I saw the video I just knew
God, I remember watching that Steelers Browns game and it was insane. I'm a steelers fan so it was absolutely insane watching my teams players jump on garret and start beating the snot out of him and then the benches cleared. I had never seen anything like that before and it was kinda cool but I can't believe that blow out of a game ended with such a bang.

Same here
Are we just not gonna talk about Mark Sanchez
In defense of Gary Anderson, he had to pull that kick to the left because the blockers on the right side of the line completely botched their assignments, forcing him to try and squeeze it inside the left upright instead of being able to drill it down the middle. Had he tried to do so with those rushers coming in, the kick would've been swatted anyway.
Garrett is still young and can still make something of his career if he doesn’t have anymore infractions even though the helmet smack will severely tarnish it and will be his most memorable moment

Hey TPS thanks for all the great content you’ve given us during quarantine. Also I comment on every vid so... you’ll see me :)
The Jackie Smith drop was a killer. Staubach admits that Smith was so wide open that he took a little off the pass, resulting in a ball that was slightly behind Smith. Having said that, Gary Anderson's miss affected more of us football fans by squashing a potential match up of Denver and Minnesota in the Super Bowl. To me, that would have been an unbelievable match up.

Also don’t like how it was literally proven that Myles was lying about the racial slur by an investigation into his constantly recorded microphone. But hey yeah let’s not drag Myles for literally slandering Mason.
Blair Walsh lost Seattle 3 games and Ironically made them miss the playoffs, if they won one more game they would have been in. It was Russell Wilsons only season missing the Playoffs, the same year he was the leading rusher for SEA and most touch down in the league. None will ever talk about how great of a year Wilson had because of how bad Walshs was.
