Well no, the novels are a complete mess even before it starts to go downhill after volume 6. It was the authors friend rewriting a lot of it and the studio that made it as good as it is. Also Rascal was not good… it’s literally a wannabe Monogatari that tries copying everything down to specific characters and their roles in the story. Let’s not forgot about the “science” Futaba uses to try and explain everything even though what she’s saying doesn’t work like she says it does

i really love this anime, it made me feel like i had a room for myself in the sakurasou, as if i was a resident just like others. felt good to watch this one. imo, it exquisitely demonstrated the struggles of hardwork, rejection and how living together can be rough at times. loved it!! hoping for season 2. thank you for the compilation as well.

Tbh chika is type of girl u can find in most anime But iino & kaguya was something else, sure kaguya is tsundere, but sometimes she's cute af, same cases with iino,

After watching this too many times, I understand why the creators made Mashiro the way she is.

Its crazy how this anime is so underrated and now Im seeing comments that have been published 2 weeks ago. Its making me happy that once in for all this anime gets the exposure that we all wanted.

@Matthew Truong Since the Japanese language converts foreign words into Katakana, they also did that with the German "Baumkuchen", some tart. And since Japanese is a syllable language, words with many consonants sound kinda off from the actual word, because vocals are added. I stumbeled across that in the very first seconds and simply was amused by that ^^

It's so nutty how the clips of the characters on youtube give such a different impression of the anime, I remember binging the anime thinking it would be some laid-back slice of life where Sorata is basically Shiina's babysitter with some romantic stuff But when I watched the anime, man it was a very fleshed out, almost drama anime of sorts and I ended up reading what happened after the anime (It wasn't bad, but I still preferred if the anime didn't cover the rest haha, my heart can't take the rest) and you end up really rooting for each of the characters and stuff Basically, it's good, go watch if you want to be invested in an anime for a few days

Keeping funny part aside, i loved this anime🥺

Hikio Studio, or whoever you are, I would just like to thank you. It's... been tough for me. I have a severe depression and after my grandma passed and being the main victim of bully cases, I have even more depression added up into me. Thank you, for making me even more depressed.
