I’ve never really been a floral person but this video has made me excited to start. I just ordered this book. Thanks for another great video.

Shayda, I must say you've been a real life saver; I'm currently going through some tough times and I've returned to watercolouring as my hobby and kind of my protection from the world really... when I paint, the problems just disappear for a while. I even bought a sketchbook and started to fill it and it brings me so much joy. You and your tutorials have really helped me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, truly. You're amazing!

Lovely paintings and a wonderful use of this very useful book too! i have a hard time seeing all the details I need to but I get there in the end, I hope you do more floral illustrations from these pages! So many excellent pictures!

I keep seeing artists (that draw or paint) holding the brush (or pen) this way. I've always learned to hold a pen between index, maybe middle finger and thumb. But is holding it this way the way I should learn?

I really like the idea of what you are doing. Your paintings are beautiful but i feel discouraged and frustrated trying to watch this. The views are at an angle and hard to see the details. Maybe it's just me, but it is so fast i find it hard to keep up. Maybe you have slower tutorials? Otherwise thanks for providing teaching videos for your viewers.

I have several videos where I paint in real time :) With other tutorials you can always slow down the playback in settings if you are painting along kzread.info?search_query=shayda+campbell+real+time

Dear Shayda, you paint the most beautiful flowers! Unfortunately the teaching style leaves me, as a total beginner, feeling incapable of repeating it. For me they serve more as a beautiful visual and I will probably use other youtube channels to learn painting. In my opinion, you could drastically improve the teaching element of your videos, if you would stop fast forwarding while you paint ( incomprehensible, inhumanely hectic wiggling right now), if you would zoom in on only the one flower you're painting on (too small right now) and if you would stop showing the process from other angles than the straight bird view. I really do hope this may help. Your videos are so so beautiful, maybe you can do at least some videos in a more beginner friendly style...slowly, bigger, straight angle... Thank you ♡
