@@Respecz nah i have the worst luck and that’s abt it i lag at the worst times or the would miss completely and i would run into their attack like they would sig straight above them and i’m in front of them and i would dash jump or something right into them and they do dumb combos like gauntlets slight nair sair that aren’t true and they dont dodge read and i can’t dodge when i have a dodge like i’m spamming my button and i dodge read them but my attack would go right through them the list goes on 🤦‍♂️

This thing about only going for what is guaranteed helped SO MUCH every since I started playing brawlhalla what I heard was "go for the best strings, now dodge reads, memorize every single optimal string for every situation" and stuff like that, when in reality just this simple tip already made improve in a day more than months of trying to go for things above my skill level

while i was playing he was explaining exactly what my opponents was doing wrong and i took that as an advantage and now im smacking people left and right😂😂❤

In the least bit of experience I’ve had in Ranked and whatnot, when I’m up against Scyhte player, y’know, the read-heavy freakshows of Brawlhalla, I borderline just don’t dodge when they start comboing me, because if I dodge, they might punish, but if I don’t dodge, they usually stop and wait for one, which I still don’t dodge, so they don’t know what the fuck’s going on. Then I do dodge, but it’s more placed, then they’re confused. When they take me offstage, I’ll let them combo me, but in my experience, Scythe players don’t extend their combos much further than knocking me offstage, because they want me to dodge so they can punish it. I’m a Rushdown player, but I rarely even touch the dodge button until I know I can dodge the string. Imo that’s pretty big brain.

The consistency is insane

This helped me lol i usually dont think when im playing (even when im doing true combos, or reading dodges w/ scythe) but ive started actually thinking, and playing less passive and giving the stage to brain dead spammers and i got up in elo a good bit

There's one thing in this game should be added and it's record bot moves, so you could actually train your dodge against combos strings ecc. I mean you can do this on every fighting game but brawlhalla it's meaningless

I don’t think so. Impala Luna and godly all play controller at the highest level.

I play on controler, but what actually gives us so much disadvantage is playing on console. People really underestimate how much input delay can affect brawlhalla's gameplay, specially against weapons like scythe, katars, or boots, since the very few dodge frames become even lower just by input delay.
