Great lesson - I've had your Solo Jazz Piano book for a while and have struggled a bit with the Red Garland comping and didn't realise you had these lessons - fantastic resource to back up one of the best piano books I've bought

I have always been a big fan of the track by Lee Morgan called "The Sidewinder". I have never known where the title came from. Or, maybe the title came before the rhythm. Anyway I found out at 21.30mins.

I named the rhythm after the piece, so I'm not sure that anything was explained. Sorry!

I've only recently discovered you channel Jeremy. Your videos are amazing & really helpful. I hope you don't mind me saying this but it would be helpful if your voice was louder as i have to keep turning my speakers down when you play the piano. On the bright side, my neighbours now think i'm a brilliant pianist.
