Another tip is for during storms: tranquilize your dinosaurs that you know will panic during the storm, and there will be less damage caused as they won't be thrashing about.

A good tip for fence building is only electrify the fences that give the dinos direct access to your guests. If they agitate, they will spend their attacks on the plain fence and will still be stuck in their pen after they break it. Then you get the broken notification and have time to assess the situation. Figure out why your dino was upset and repair the fence so it just attacks that same one again in the future. All this and your guests can carry on

Another trick is to apply the Upgrade Scheduling multiple times on ranger stations to assign up to 8 tasks per ranger. 8x3 rangers is 24 tasks per station you can assign all in one go

@@NateL1992 some of the later islands are damn big with long ways for the rangers and ACU teams. on Isla Sorna for example i build 3 ranger stations and 2 ACU stations to be able to micromanage all the feeding (and tranquing escaped dinos- stupid tornados) on this incredibly big and far stretching island

Don't focus all of your attention on one division. I just take one or two contracts from each and have never experienced the sabotage mechanic in action. Sure, you don't get to unlocks as fast, but it'll make things easier.

I'm guessing if you don't get the unlocks as fast, then it'll actually increase your playability time. Never played the game (but I want to!) but this just seems like what would happen.

I don't think the "easy money on new islands" trick is a cheat - in reality, you own all the islands, and should be able to just use money from one on another. Just sayin'.

IKR, imagine my surprise when I first started a new island and found out that you couldn't use all the money you had already earned on another island. I was like wtf happened to all of my money?? LOL, I guess they didn't wanna make it too easy for you.

Uh for the last tip, you can tranq Dinos right as they come out of the incubation and their comfort stat will not change while they are asleep, just make sure to keep track of their food and water whilst they're sleeping, it'll give you the time to hatch more. and even if you barely got the time for some of the most... demanding ones (aka: fking late game hadrosaurs with a social group of 6+...) you can still wake them up a bit early and they shouldn't have the time to become irrate. Just wait for their health to start decreasing a tiny bit (roughly 75% mark was the sweet spot for my playthrough), make sure they have access to food and water right next to where they wake up and you'll be gucci.

my tip is increase lifespan on all dinos. Don't incubate them at 50% just wait and carry on increasing the genome to higher level and modify them to increase lifespan and then upgrade the creation labs with success rate to compensate for the loss in viability.

Yeah, they are female but the whole gimmick of the first Jurassic Park movie was, they started laying eggs to great surprise of everyone, because they used a frog DNA that had the ability to change gender, thus some female dinosaurs were able to change from female to male and vice versa.

I feel like the tip for the Stress Free Research part was an intended mechanic for players who have either played through once already and can use it to finish the campaign more quickly and easily, or for players who figure out that you can switch between islands at will and have the research and money part figured out.

I swear. Some dinosaurs get so mad when their social needs are not met. Also if you make a really big enclosure and have, say Parasolophous like 6-7. They all spread out and then get lonely and start breaking out. The game needs to update their dinosaurs! Also the Stegosaurus is the worst of all!

Yeah, it's a strange radial system isn't it? All about what's directly around the dinos, even things in an adjacent enclosure, that impacts them. Why I try and keep enclosures relatively small, so there's no space to roam and go wrong.

I totally agree with stegosaurus.. On Sorna I get all the stegos into an enclosure until social group is at the limit then sell the rest. Then once they start hitting old age and die they all soon die 1 after another and if you're distracted expanding or doing missions etc. you'll find the stegos breaking out so you start multitasking and to catch them, fixing fences and incubate more stegos and hopefully don't break out again whilst new stegos incubate.

I remember in JPOG you had these "lures". Carnivore lures and herbivore lures. Wish those were there in this game. Or what would be even more awesome is maybe a lure for different types of dinosaurs. Not for every species ofc but maybe for like small carnivores or sauropod or maybe stegosaurs type lures.

hadrasaurs are the worst they require large groups and mid tier need to be incubated in groups of 3 to 4 and the worst part is there the most boring dinos in game

1. You can queue up a tranq order with the ACU on a dinosaur about to walk out of the creation lab. Social dinos wont get uncomfortable whilst tranquilized, allowing you to keep 3 Success upgrades in the creation lab and eliminate a need for capacity upgrades. 2. When you incubate a dinosaur, it will not be affected if you change out upgrades. For instance, incubate 2 dinos with success upgrades then replace an upgrade with capacity and the first 2 dinos will still incubate like you had 3 Success upgrades.

This gem of a game has just been released on x box live for free. This video is helping me massively.

I only started playing this game recently through XBox game pass and I absolutely love it. There are lots of little tips and tricks that can help someone out but I'm glad I could say I never used any of the "cheats" like building a research centre or fossil centre on another island before going back to the current one. All the money and progression I made is from that island only and once you know what you're doing, is actually pretty easy. The only island I had any real trouble with was I think the second island. Where you start with hardly any money and all the power is out everywhere. I had to restart this island a few times as I kept running out of money, it was only until I realised that if I just took control of the ranger vehicle to do repairs I'd save myself a lot of money. It's things like that you pick up through the game that is really rewarding. On the 4th island, I was surprised to see that the money counter actually went to a billion before dropping to $987m for a while before I went on to the next island. I was surprised that the game had the mechanic to go the extra digit but I'm not sure if it will keep rising past a billion or not. I will keep trying tho!

I released a dilophosaurus into its habitat, went to eat lunch, came back and realised I had left my game on, the dilo was out and it had 7 human kills

Can block the creation labs exit so if you are releasing multiple Dino's, after a few tranqed Dino's at the entrance the rest can't come out

I got this game a while back on sale and messed with it for a bit and that was it. After this new update with the og park im fully into this game and you just gave me some good tips i never thought of , thanks for that.

On Isla Sorna everything was going good and I almost had three stars after about 10 to 20 minutes and then a storm came and wrecked my park.

Great info! JUST what I was looking for :) Thank you so much!!

You can actually make separate path sections connect once you unlock monorails. If path section A is connected to the entrance and a monorail station, section B can be connected just by building it a monorail station and connecting it to the station at section A. Build a hotel, a couple of shops for all guest needs, a shelter and a station. Surround them with dinosaur pens. With all the people concentrated no one is ever too far from shops or shelters in an emergency. Plus the monorails can go over enclosures so you don't need to leave space between them for paths. Which means more space for more dinosaurs!

The most easily ones in division missions when you check are ones like to keep guests from being eaten by predators and not have the power going out for 10 minutes all you have to do is wait.

It was a pretty big shock when I learned huge herbivores can chill comfortably with carnivores, as long as they know those carnivores don't have a hope in hell of actually taking them down. 😂 It's like how we're comfortable living with cats and dogs, even though they're technically predators. They can try and eat us if they want, but good luck 😂

the one with the social group is very important. on isla sorna for example you should basically sell all stegosauruses and just keep the spino. the stego cause more trouble than anything else, they're just not worth keeping.

When putting dinosaurs in an enclosure you can combo them, one that I found was: Whole lotta Sauropods( Apatosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, etc ) x Pack of small carnivores x Only one large carnivore. Though you gotta have several water sources and food sources for the carnivores.

That multigated creation lab is ingenious! Definitely going to use that for efficient use of space for my islands. I just created a lab separately from the other exhibits then transferred them to each dinosaurs exhibits, but this one is so much better.

for a tip i learn i suggest having more then 1 ranger station and have them in close proximity to your dinosaur paddocks, so if any of the unruly buggers break fences you can tranquilize them and patch up the fences in rather quickly.

My tip is if you have a park you don't want Dinos escaping, like Velociraptors, double the fence. Its easy and they have little chance to escape through two fences. If you get bored you can always just open the gate.

Raptors are the best dinos in the game imo. They keep the indominus rex, the t-rex and the other one calm. I can put 5 raptors in a pen with an indo rex and they all die of old age.

I use the one creation lab for multiple enclosures and I love it saves space and money plus it doubles as a holding cell until the correct number of dinos for certain social groups are met its beautiful

Now I'm on the last island (not the sandbox island) and all 5 island before are with a 5 stars rating and all main mission are complete includes all all possible updates from the 3 quest given guys. But now I have the problem that my Dinos are getting sick all the time but I don't have the research option to search for the last 5 antidote. Any tipps what I can do?

I regularly use the fossil center hack regularly, especially with isla sorna where I plan on making 3 paddocks of carnivores, herbivores, and a mix of both. Starting off with low maintenance dinos first before bringing the big boys out

An easier solution to the hatchery problem is making a small enclosure with a hatchery away in a corner of the map, and use that one hatchery to incubate every dinosaur on the island, simply tranquillise the dinosaur when released and then transport it to the wanted enclosure elsewhere; this saves money AND space trying to fit a huge hatchery on every single enclosure; it works especially well on Isla Pena.

I got this game for free recently and have been playing it every chance I get lol. I made it to the last island and now I'm going back thru to achieve 5 stars before I start the last island. It's a blast closing the parks and doing complete rebuilds.

And I had an issue with a Dino escaping from one of the ranger trucks going into the paddock. Use a double fence entrance with two security gates so when one opens the other close

Neat. I'm hoping to get the disc copy for my birthday in a couple days.

I was having trouble trying to discover why some places were in need of food, even when there is a restaurant near. If the restaurant is with the max of numbers of clients, just add more workers and it will get more clients and better rate of food at near places. This works for the others shops too.

They had a normal exhibit for them but moved them to that claustrophobic pen because they'd attack the fences for weaknesses. Listen to Muldoon when he's speaking with them at the raptor paddock.

I use monorails to well walled off spots with the dinos, I use several walls with gates in case there is a break out (there always are...) between the hotels, shops and what not so limit guests getting killed on the run to the shelters. Also put plenty of acc 3's on your ACU crews because when things go bonkers you can waste time doing their job tranqing dinos.

welp, tip 10:dont forget the be sure that while ur incubating ur 2nd indoraptor,be sure the paddock is empty you might have the let the game go by itself and just let the 2nd indo release for a minute to get capri-sun and come back to realize you just lost 11 million

Outside of my Hammond Center I have a cool little passage that cuts through the middle of several large exhibits with gates leading to each one. If you open any of these gates, the newborn dinosaur will run to the closest area it can get water... and food I guess... they always seem to want water first. Also if the enclosure requires numerous gates to open, as long as it's leading to a water source the dino will run right through the open gates.

With at least two Hammond creation kits on each side of the enclosure and then population and all that fun stuff can be handled inside one giant enclosure, at least I had more success to doing it this way then doing it any other way

I just started the game, bought it yesterday. I immediately found out how to divide the first enclosure and use two doors with feeders near them, so the dinos go to the right place. I have been doing one other thing which is double fences for all carnivores, probably won´t help much when the crap hits the fan but I thought it would be a good idea. I am only making two of each though but still in the beginning and it doesn´t seem to matter much, need to keep an eye on that for the second island.

The subtitles are hilarious on this “I litter can yo!”

The pen idea is brilliant! Im so stupid been building an hatchery for each enclosures

My visitor always complained about restroom, they cant get enough of it. There is one time, my island is full of restroom rather than other attractions and i get a 5 stars.

These are all great tips I discovered them myself and been using them for quite a while. *The best profitable dinosaurs for your parks are the larger carnivores mixed in the same pen with the smaller ones like the dillos or raptors* Don't waste time with the herbivores unless if you're a die-hard fan and you can't live without them lol

with carnivores or needy dinos always try and double layer your fence to slow them down so your ACU can get there

just like all these games, i have a fx 6350 and a 1060 6gb and as you can tell, my cpu is not great. after 7 hrs of playing i have gone from 60fps ultra settings to 40fps low settings, its such a shame and i wonder if there is anything i can do i fix this.

Question do you ever get a skateboard make a second save file and let the carnivores out and watch what happens

If you really don't want to create more than one Hammond lab you can build a little enclosure far from guests, tranq them and move them, like a miniature site B from the movies

This may have been changed in an update or something, but any dinosaurs I bred with a social need of 1 or higher could be housed alone in their paddocks. I was surprised at how many starting dinosaurs could be solitary compared to later unlocks, like the finicky stegosaurus and the temperamental pachycephalosaurs. Sadly, I had to sell many of these species, because their social/population upkeep was too demanding.

I had big problems with my raptors. Had four of them in a enclosure and they seemed all comfy and happy. But every storm they go and break out. Now I have two Ceros in the same enclosure. Works great; if the raptors stay to long near the fence, the big guys came to attack them.

Two more things you can do: 1) Build a research centre on a new island, research all available unlocks then "reset" the island. You keep what you researched but everything resets including your money 2) When multi-incubating, set all 3 addons to the highest success rate module you have, research the first two default dinos. As they're researching, change one of the success rate mods to increased queue mod and research another dino. When that one has started, change another success to queue mod, rinse and repeat. You end up with 5 dinos incubating, 2 at 3x success, 1 at 2x success, 1 at 1x success and 1 at 0x success.

Dinosaurs happyness depends on the amount of trees/grass/friends around their current location. This means it's best to not have really odd shaped enclosures especially with dinosaurs that want a lot of space or they can be fine in the middle, but get really upset if they wander into a tight corner of the enclosure and suddenly think their enclosure just shrank.

i have done these as well sell fossils to a park with lil money after digging them up in a high money park and the mutil-gated pens and i use goats to lure the carnivores thou the doors and into thier pens. and i have did the double gate like a pen with a eletric fence around where they can get to the guest so if they break the normal fence they still have to break the other one. im working on 5 staring my parks

Another space saving trick many dont know is that armored herbivores can be safely put into enclosures with small carnivores. Same with sauropods. And that you can prevent dinosaurs from breaking out during a storm by tranqing them when you see the storm warning pop up. And that dinos comfort doesnt decrease while tranqd

Purely depends on the dino. medium & big veg-o-saurs like larger areas than small ones. Kill-o-saurs I tend to keep in small-ish pens and separated from the others. Works fine. Some types of veg-o-saurs don't like too many others in their pens (draks and Triceratops especially).

I jumped in and on my first try made a successful enclosure with 1 carno type and 4 herb types. I haven't been able to get the balance right again. Please make a video about single enclosure Parks

How do you deal with Brachiosaurus? I've tried going 50/50 on their enclusures with forest and grassland because they want a lot of both but they keep getting pissed and breaking out and I don't know why?! Also, how do you change your stores management views(shopping, fun, food, drink)? I keep trying to to give my guests what they want but every time I go back to the stores after I change them they just reset to "none".

Paintedawg I have a huge brachiasor paddock. Also, I learned they do not like being by buildings. So an isolated paddock. Then surround the edges with trees. I had a hell of a time trying to get the perfect paddock for them. Another issue I have with them, is when they walk to a side with less trees and closer to buildings, their comfort drops. So I kept their food and water on the side they liked👌🏼
