This map is great fun and even better practice!
@frakking
Ай бұрын
@thad4242 Wow. You have poor sportsmanship and are consistently ruining it for everyone else. Protip: When you're consistently running rounds 25-0 and all your opponents can't climb past one or two kills, you need to find a new training ground suitable to your skill level. You might be having "great fun" (at our expense), but you're not getting "better practice" any more than you would by playing in a bot lobby.
@thad4242
Ай бұрын
@@frakking Hey, Frakking! I don’t think I have poor sportsmanship. I treat everyone in the lobby with respect, and have made countless friends from it. I’d also like to mention, the kill limit has been changed twice since being at 25, so i don’t think you have played the map recently. I’d also like to think that there are a lot of great players on the map, and I’m in no way the best. Sorry you feel that way, I’m not trying to ruin the experience for anyone.
@frakking
Ай бұрын
@@thad4242 I don't think you're treating them with respect when you don't respect their time. You disrespect their time when you make it impossible for them to do the thing they're there to do in the first place. Part of sportsmanship is respecting a level field of play - and you quite deliberately sandbag, because you're not looking for a level field of play. 25-0 was an example. I've seen you go 40-0. Has the kill limit been changed yet again? I wouldn't know - players like you made the map useless for the rest of us, so I stopped playing it. I'm not going to continue wasting my time just so you can have fun playing whack-a-mole. That's not what I'm there for. And regardless of what the kill limit is, or how recently I've played, my point still stands. In fact, it's sad to see you confirm that you've basically continued to ruin the experience for others.

@@frakking I hope you know I enjoy competition, and there are players that I frequently run into that I do compete with. When you’re not playing with anyone above your skill level, you don’t get better. Again, if you don’t want to play with me, you can always change your server to get another lobby (I play nae and central). And these people that I “sandbag” are people that I’ve created relationships with. I offer advice/tips/tricks whenever I play as well. Quitting whenever someone is better than you is your choice, but I always stay so I can learn. Ggs, I hope you don’t count this map out because of me when I only play certain times of the day and on specific servers.
If you’re hiding behind a object or wall, step 2-3m back and then aim to shoot. I learnd this from rainbow 6 siege

What does using his name in store do ?
I remember one of your past videos, where you mentioned standing back from cover when peeking, and also hugging walls against a roof enemy. But today you better explained it in more detail. Much easier to understand as this one only covers “cover”😊
You’re insane, these tutorials are worth gold
"most players stand near cover, they don't use cover"... I am guilty of that too. I noticed this while analyzing a replay from the opponent's perspective. I thought I was really well positioned behind a tree, but when I stepped out to fire, I walked way to far and was out in the open. Now I know to take a few steps back and stay much closer to cover.
That lining the reticle up first and not swinging around like a maniac mid air is going to change my life on game tonite after work. Wow and. Duh at the same time...nice thanks u soreso master jedi
I constantly forget that when playing cover you don’t have do be completely on top of it. Playing a few steps back provides so much more safety and ability to hit shots. Great video! I love how well each example was very thoroughly showed! 🔥
@Slay_jay-LIVE

Wait so staying back a few steps helps even more? Explain
@69funnynumber48
8 күн бұрын
@@Slay_jay-LIVEfor example on a roof if you go onto the edge you are exposing youself more even though you can see more yourself, its equal risk to the both players and becomes a chimp fight. Its better to expose yourself for as little time as possible and as little body part’s exposed so you can get free damage
Amazing video as usual and I actually needed this advice for the cover shooting thank you sirr
Suggestion for your map. I've run into a few situations where I load up the map and find that it's just a bunch of folks playing the same strategy over and over while I am trying to work on something else. I understand they're probably working on a specific skill or whatever, but I'm trying to figure out a way where it would be possible to do exactly what you're showing in this video, and that is coordinating with people to team up and practice specific skills, like jump shots, using cover, vehicle fights, proper shockwave use, etc. It's hard for me to work on vehicle fights or shockwaves when there's someone camped on a roof lasering me with every respawn. I get the intent is to mimic real fights, but if there were different "areas" of the map or something that were specific to a skill that would be awesome. Maybe a central FFA area (like the map in it's current state) with separate zones from the respawn area for peaks, shockwaves, vehicles, etc. Maybe even set up some firing range lanes with dummy targets for peaks and cover. Then we know anyone in that designated area (or arena) would be there to work on the same mechanics. Idk, just brainstorming here. An creating extra work for you too lol.

Once again. I enjoy your delivery of the instruction.
Another great video, Toby. I've been trying to explain head glitches to my son recently and this will be perfect. For some reason, using a head glitch and frying him wasn't working. 😂
love your content bro thanks for all the helpful videos
This is a super awesome video. Tremendously helpful. Thank you.
Good stuff. Thanks for all you do.
Great upload, Toby! I got that wrist rest and the stand for the Azeron per your recommendation. GREATLY improved comfort playing! Thank you!
Glad I joined!! Cant wait to play with you guy's soon!
Great content, thank you so much!
Wow, watched this video this morning, while at work, came home, slept, when I hopped in to play, my first match was decided by one of those tips, the jumpshot granted me the W in the last 1v1, insane content bro 🙏🏾
Imagine playing Fortnite without watching shinobi
I watched this and utilized these mechanics in my next match and WON against some very salty players. Thank you. 🙏 Your teaching videos are second to none.
Very informative, you got a new sub
Thanks to your vids, I managed three wins with gyro aim yesterday. The right shoulder peek strategy makes getting Aspect of Agility a lot more consistent.
loving your map toby!
Great video guys!
All content is excellent, but this video is a game changer (for a middle-aged player trying to keep up with his son/nephews!) - just awesome. Now to practice... thanks!
You seem to always be in such a good mood, Toby! I appreciate your amazing attitude, as well as your fantastic tips! 🤘🏻🖤 Thank you, my dude!
Great video! I subbed to your channel. I suck at remembering to peak, and have never done peaks like this. I'm about to go practice this in creative. Wish me luck!
Love your content! Keep up the great work!
What I teach people is to not strafe or walk backwards to return to your cover. If it’s more than a step or 2 that is. Turning and using forward movement is a better option.
i'm a newer player (may 2023) and watching the video, right away i realized i was playing cover way too close to the object itself. quite informative video, thanks Toby!
All these tips and tricks really make a huge difference! I'm having a great time playing Fortnite thanks to you :)
The day of our battle will be legendary
great vid, subbed
i love these videos brother, no build movement mastery i swear man it even translates to me palying build mode too. I still watch the eye warm up video before i play other games and not just fortnite. TobyWanTheFreakingLegend
thanks man
Toby...I have been a huge fan immediately after I watched your first video. You are the first online personality that I have donated money to. You provide training that no other streamer does. On top of that, you have an amazing understanding of game mechanics and a deep understanding of the human condition. I say all of this as a preface to me telling you that this video has got to be one of the most amazing videos that will help people get more dubs in fortnite. Thank you soo much!
Watching this video and subconsciously remembering some tips helped me a ton. I improved my games for the night by a solid amount. I'm honestly surprised. Cheers! 🍻
Such a good video gawd dayum
I haven't been playing long but love the game and your videos but since I've started I've wondered why it's just right shoulder peek, should be able to swap to left or when you start your account you have to pick left or right shoulder camera view and stay with it! Would mix it up a little more not knowing if you're fighting a righty or lefty!
2:32… Idk how I’ve never heard this tip. I play my peeks so close to cover and always hit my cover lol excited to see how much this helps!
Great content! Learned a lot here because naturally I was making these mistakes despite being a decent zero build player.
Thanks for what you do from France ;)
Thanks, Toby! Very useful information! You're the best!😊 Greetings from Estonia!
Very good video man:) those peeks combined with god aim is unstoppable
I love your channel i watched you grow so much you are very creative
That jump shot from height is called the Tfue Classic and the one from low ground is the Reverse Tfue Classic. Since it’s been around for so long good players know whats coming, they will pre fire you , so it’s important to change your position before repeating the move. ( as you mentioned)Good Information!
Very good video
Thanks, great advice, I always see players who ignore cover like it doesn't exist. They always pay. I hope nobody listens so I keep getting easy elims.
Getting better at the jump shot has been easier for me than the doing the right hand peek well. Keeping tight to the cover and the right distance back from it in the middle of a fight is not easy for me. But having so many strategies to learn is what makes this game great. I always appreciate your analysis.
This video helped me win an intense champion ranked match with 8 kills holy cow 🐮 i was playing while watching the video and held very tight angles whenever someone used telepkrt orbs on me i just went behind nearest cover and cut off the angle. You are a genius i wonder why all of us decide to just take fights whenever someone lands on us i sprint slide cancle nearest cover im going to be unreal soon!
I love the content but now it's so understanding now how to stop a player that moved fast. How can I set the tempo to my rhythm. Because I now getting a few game sense of what I have going wrong. Most player play at at fast tempo but it's makes it hard for me to move at their tempo so can the next content be how can I set a player to my tempo
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Video
Could you give us tips for controller?
The Shinobi Realistic FFA Map would be a great resource for getting better. Unfortunately, every time I try to use it, there's almost always one player who's absolutely dunking on the weaker players, making it impossible for them to even have a chance to fight and improve. They're shockwaving around constantly and either pre-empt or third party nearly every fight, so there's almost no chance for weaker players to try these tactics against anyone remotely close to their skill level before they're wiped and respawning. I'm talking about guys running 25-0, while everyone else can't climb past one or two kills total. I can improve by playing people at my level. I can improve by playing people who are somewhat above my level. But I cannot realistically practice and improve by playing people who are ten times better than me. It's poor sportsmanship and there really needs to be more policing of these guys, because they're defeating the entire purpose of the map by using other people's attempts to improve as a free dunking ground to stroke their own ego. It's also only a few people who are doing this - they're just doing it over and over, all evening, every evening. Yeah, Thad, I'm looking at you.
@Trial88

Some of my biggest jumps in growth have come from playing people that are well above my skill level. It hurts and it sucks, but if you stick with it you’ll get better. Even if it doesn’t feel like it at first. If you suffer through an hour or two of getting stomped on by guys like Thad, MF Dump or Dyzz then playing against the normal people you play against will feel easier. Do it for weeks and you’ll see the improvement.

Also Red vs Blue or The Pit Zero Build are great maps to practice. But it's normal to get sh#t on hard in the beginning.
You’re a G! If you ever need another person to help with a video lmk I’m also a content creator; also a disabled vet that loves to chat! Thanks for all the tips.
My dude
Another great video!! Admittedly I'm not very gd. Not alot of time to play to close my skill level. But your videos help me play smarter with limited time to play. You deserve as much support as possible. Like and item shop code is the least I can do. Thanks!!
Another problem of staying too close to the cover is that sometimes your weapon (snipers in special) clip through the cover and your opponent know exactly where you are!
Hi toby, how do i re heal in between fights without panicking about being shot? I cant seem to stop my panic 😣

New meaning to "tree hugger" 😉
Cover? Whats that? I stand out in the open and hope for the best 😅
It would be great if you could show the other POV simultaneous to your instructions
Jesus been playing 2 years and didn’t know all of this 🤣 Thanks bro!
I feel like with the new movement the right hand peak crouch and dodge is soooo slow now. That used to be the bread and butter of right hand peak fights…..
Does anyone have advice on how I can get better at br but I’m really good in creative but all my skill like disappears
Good that you show these videos but people are probably already putting this in the game and they're probably using this a lot and I'm probably just going to get demolished if I try this

Just watched this vid and it really works we were murking till these players just kept throwing up earth bending and then was able to close in and shot gun me couldn’t land a snipe personally I hate these avatar weapons be a man use a fire arm
most controller players dont even care about no aim assist in a bush
@davelong1277

The smarter ones care. No sense in having to have 2 muscle memories to remember.
Learned so much in this. Stand back from cover and you lose aim assist if you're on controller in a bush. Gee. No wonder...
Do you think Dump is a good player? 😂
Im number 1 juhu
I've improved a bit at this game thanks to you! I was playing trios and my teammates were taken down by the bird skins that you love dearly. I don't know how I did it, but I managed to take down that bird trio all by myself because I remembered some of the things you taught! I did it Tobywanshinobi...I stopped the birds! 🦆🦜🦩 I still struggle quiet a bit with hipfiring, movement, and utilizing cover correctly, so I still have some improving to do!
