I have been pinning my plant nodes to the soil for years, but I was using hair Bobby pins that would be rough on the stems even when I bent them open, but I will start using safety pins because it seems less damaging. Thanks for the alternative.👍👍👍

I’ve always used paper clips. Large plant, large clip, etc. Bend them open so only one loop of clip goes over plant and the rest will go deep in the flower pot. I love plants and flowers inside and outside. You can root some outside things by pulling a branch to the ground and laying a brick on it. Kinda the same technique.

They was a lot of times I thought it was dying. I did everything I could finally it gotten better and bigger. I have now gotten few other plants. I'm glad i found this channel few months ago. I came to this video after watching a more recent one of yours, and it's funny to see that you've now debunked the rotating and annual repotting points. I'm starting out and have been developing a sense about my plants. I have a few adjustments I need to do now after watching some of your videos, but I really thank you for all of this information. Even when you later debunk or correct yourself, I love it, because it shows you are learning and growing, and that you are open to different ideas from what you've been previously taught. Great job!

I began saving water from steaming/simmering spring vegetables like spinach or asparagus, letting the water cool, and watering my sad ferns with it. They were sulking due to poor care previous to coming to me, and have responded with massive growth. Thank you for this tip which you shared either here or in another of your many videos!

5:04 my grandma has the special pots for her plants where there’s like the pot like drains with this tray rate, the tree is built into the pot and it’s got like a little spot so you can put water directly at the bottom. They’re kind of fancy they’re super cool she’s had them for years and they’re perfect for her creepy Crawley vines.

@@SheffieldMadePlants I was using talk to text with this lol so it looks a little weird but they’re just these plastic pots she’s had for YEARS built so that you can water from the bottom. She says it makes it really easy to water all her plants. She has an entire bakers rack of these things and last I saw her some of the vines they had to put on the stair banister across the room
