Oso Creek is another good hike with kids, and it's very easy.
Those hikes look really nice! I had no idea that there were redwoods in Orange County either which is cool. I can definitely see me checking out the Carbon Canyon Redwoods as well as any of the parks with great views of the area including the Pacific.

These are great. If I can offer some more. Carbon Canyon- Redwoods in the OC? Who knew? Whiting Ranch- Shady oaks but watch out for big cats. Bommer Canyon- great for wildflowers in the spring.
