The importance of sitting and talking about the issues with your partner.

Jennifer Said she was glad they were showing how Maddie was feeling this season and I agree with her totally she needed something like this to go through before i I didn’t know but after hearing her say that I agree completely with her!!!! Chimney and her needed something like this to happen so they both could know how deep their relationship really is and after everything she’s been through after Doug it’s natural she felt like this!!!!!!

I don’t think so. She needs help, and I know part of that means having a great support network (Chim and Buck, etc.) but she needs too be single right now

@@duchess2412 Not everything can be solved with being single. Sometimes even in the midst of a storm you need that special someone in your life to help you through it. For Maddie, breaking up with Chimney would be exactly what she doesn't want to do anymore...running away. I'm sick of this generation always thinking that being single is the answer to all the problems in the world. Yes relationships and marriage is hard, especially in this day and age, but dammit-Anything worth having is GOING to be hard, and I believe Maddie wants her family more than anything and that she wants to work towards it!

@@Luvbengs1 they have. They had a whole back episode on Chim and his family growing up and also with Albert. He is a complete character outside of just being opposite Maddie. Just like Maddie is a complete character aside from just being with Chim. 911 does a really good job of that with the characters.

Depression, PTSD and all of these mental states of the mind are real. Maddie telling chim that she felt a certain way and chim saying that he should have been there for is what real couples tell each other, help each other. Reaching out to show you care really makes a person feel loved, but talking about it and getting therapy or taking meds for depression can relieve the strain of a person not feeling bad for what is happening. Depression is a mental disease and chim did the right thing by admitting he wasn't there enough for Maddie. The last part from Maddie saying:" NO MORE PRETENDING" is real. She admitted to having a problem and chim went out to find her and give her comfort and support. Way to go, chim !!

When she said she tried to kill herself by walking into the ocean, I immediately flashed to the episode of Ghost Whisperer with a similar scenario.
